Re: how to stop network sharing between pppoe user

for the sharing question:

lets say the pppoe server has ip 192.168.1.1
and pppoe clients have 192.168.1.2-192.168.1.200

Create a firewall rule
source address 192.168.1.2-192.168.1.200
dst address 192.168.1.2-192.168.1.200

and select "drop" for all traffic that applies to this rule.

Hi, I want the Mikrotik Router to be a PPPoE Client with my ISP on the WAN-Interface and a PPPoE-Server for my Customers on the LAN Interface. I am using this configuration with a real IP for every customer with IP-mapping on another mikrotik router already. But now I want to configure a second Mikr...

IP-mapping

Hi, I am using 1:1 IP mapping to map a real IP subnet to a private subnet. private public 10.30.30.1-127 <--> x.x.x.1-127 That works fine and without problems. Usually, when a user has 10.30.30.40 as private IP, he is mapped to x.x.x.40. That was my intention. But sometimes it happens that he gets x...

adsl and real IP - Pool

Hey, I have got ADSL and my provider will route a pool of 64 real IP addresses on my adsl connection soon. I have got a hotspot running here, using 1 real IP for all users until now. (NAT) For some legal realson I want to make every user accessing the web with his own real IP. I thought that a route...
