Re: Dude 3B8 all icons are gone

Hello, I reloaded the icons with the "Device Type" window. Importing the correct icon file for the devices fixed my maps.
As a general guideline: backup to xml as often as you change your maps!!

Re: The Dude beta 8

A further observation already mentioned for beta7: Cisco PIX interface snmp polling does not work stable. Message is: SnmpRefresher::onSnmp(): too big . Might be related to GigBit Interface?
Good News: beta 8 now works fine with True X-Mouse!

Re: The Dude beta 8

Installation of client only: dude client loops with the interface language popup. Server install cures this issue. Good news: Export at the client now creates xml with full backup of remote server! Import of backup created with .07beta: Device type is kept but icon shows as unknown Modifying device ...

Re: V3.7 Beta Uncontrollable SNMP Traffic

Hello Cris, tcpdump on my dude server does not show snmp traffic for a device with device properties set to setting -> General Tab: snmp profile: no-snmp , TYPE: some-device no ticks at SecoreMode, RouterOS, Dude Server setting -> services Tab : ping (the no-snmp settings are: Version none, Tries 3,...

SNMP to PIX Firewall device unstable

Hello, does anybody successfully monitor PIX Firewall devices? The ping probe works fine. However the traffic monitoring shows unstable: Device settings -> snmp -> Interface shows none to all interfaces (and IP's) during a three minute intervall. Dude 3.0beta7 on Suse 10.1 with Wine Server Johann

Re: Dude 3.0 beta7 service hangs/stop monitoring

Hello, just one more report on this. I see dude server stopping snmp probe analysis while other probes continue to work. The snmp polling of the devices still goes on as verified with tcpdump. All functions requiring snmp analysis stop working, also traffic diagrams are not continued. SNMP monitored...

Re: The Dude Server as linux service

Hey,

Is dude server going to be distributed as linux daemon, without need to use wine? Because I don't have graphical environment on server...

Regards, Kamil.
Hello, no graphics required: I use XVnc and wine and dude works great.
