Re: poor wifi performance

Obviously yes.
If you do not get a connection on that second ethernet port, there is something wrong with your config as a whole.
oh yes, port eth8 works fine. But not when configured as internet-facing port

One example:
Upgrading from 7.12 to 7.13.2 and do a reset-configuration disk space is 7% free.
Netinstalling directly the 7.13.2 disk space free is 9%...
Something is left regardlessly the "reset"...
puh, netinstall...

Re: poor wifi performance

Connect Ethernet cable from e.g. your notebook (disable notebook wifi) to eth2 of your cap ac and perform a Speedtest. If this performs well, you can debug your wifi setup. I don't get a connection over eth2 of the access point. Not only no IP address, but not a connection. The LAN cable works, and...

Re: poor wifi performance

Also, how are you testing the speed? With Speedtest from that iPad? Or some other way? When you run the speedtest, check if anything changes in the registration table entry

Re: DHCP doesn't deliver an address for a gateway

it's not a config from another device. As I said, the device and the config is brand-new, based on my little experience with my crs328. /interface bridge add admin-mac=48:A9:8A:B5:C3:2A auto-mac=no comment=defconf name=inside vlan-filtering=yes add name=outside /interface vlan add interface=inside n...

Re: DHCP doesn't deliver an address for a gateway

well, yesterday this line (to 3.) ) was not there.
I've deleted it and restarted the device.
Now the router has lost all routing information. It got an ip address on the internet-faced port (eth1), but I cannot ping its gateway (no route to host).

Re: DHCP doesn't deliver an address for a gateway

https://forum.mikrotik.com/viewtopic.php?t=203686 1) Update RouerOS to 7.13.2 (if it already is, be more specific about which version you use), probably fix it. 2) It could be a defect in the laptop's Ethernet port (in laptops these new self-retractable ethernet ports are s–t...) or the CRS, or the...

Re: DHCP doesn't deliver an address for a gateway

I have checked the configs 1:1 /ip dhcp-server print detail: name=DHCP-Server interface=bridge lease-time=30m address-pool=pool1 auth=yes use-radius=no lease script is empty pools are nearly identical, just the ip-range is different. They contain the network, gateway (in both cases it's the correspo...

poor wifi performance

I have the crs112 and 2 RBcAPGi-5acD2nD. My internet connection delivers 130/30 with an external speedtest. Internally cabled with gigabit. With wifi I get only some 4-8 mbit/s up / download. iPad and Notebook chose the 5 ghz, the registration table says, they are connected with over 600mbit/s. Any ...

Re: DHCP doesn't deliver an address for a gateway

crs112, 7.13 nothing is integrated, just a standalone switch and a notebook attached. Switch is new, config is basic and very simple. One IP address, a bridge, a DHCP server that delivers ip's, bound to the bridge. DHCP pool and DHCP config are correct; I have a crs328 for my productive network and ...

DHCP doesn't deliver an address for a gateway

Router OS 7.13 doesn't deliver an IP address for the gateway to DHCP clients.
Same config on older version works.
