Hello,

I've 2x NetMetal5 + 30 db Antenna.

I'm trying this on 32km long link and I can't get CCQ, link disconnecting every 5-10 seconds with message "extensive data loss" AND/OR "connected, wants bridge. reassociating"... Signal ~ -50/-50

looks like lightning strike. does it smell like burned? does it work with power jack? I'll try power jack tomorrow... Of course it smell like burned, PoE splitter, RJ45 connector, everything is burned :) The problem is why this happened in middle of day, and it was very beautiful sunny day... 8) :)

No, that routing-test package has long since become the normal routing package. (That was posted in 2007 when regular package didn't have that kind of functionality).

We have monthly at random time problems with RB1000...

CPU goes on 100% and RB1000 is unreachable after 30 mins or few hours RB1000 becomes normal CPU at about ~50% throughput is about 60Mbps...

alvarion has this feature. and it's very precise. I believe it tests the latency with different ack settings, chooses the best one and evaluates the distance. just a guess.

you must connect via Serial Console and see if there is any error message on the screen. Also make sure you are running the latest Bootloader and RouterOS versions on these devices. If yes, you can make a supout.rif file after the hang, and send it to support for analysis I run always last stable v...

I have also similar problem on some location... I have about 5 RBs on one place and on some RBs mainly ether port freeze I can access it through wlan interface, and after reboot or power reset and it works fine after that... Sometimes freeze daily 2-3 times sometimes weekly 2-3 times... I don't know...

I did this but it didnt work, I did this on the client side only. I cant do it on the base station cuz the bandwidth for each user differs from each other. is there any way to limit them by IP address on something else? To build a repeater just put the wireless with same frequency and ssid of the 433. Next create a WDS interface with the mac address of the wlan1 of the 433. Hello, I have RB433AH & ROS 3.17 and there are dynamic (PPPoE) and static Queues (Per IP). When I enable static queues Dynamic queues doesn't have any effects, I mean they are not limited and there is no Traffic counting on queue. But when I disable static queues everyting works fine. What to do?
