Re: Chateau LTE12 and self managed wifi with capsman

This doesn't seem to do what it's supposed to do (maybe). It did work in a sense that provision command didn't complain. My wifi interfaces got "read only", wifi network specified in configuration appeared, but without internet access. Also I didn't get a red comment in wifi interfaces abo...

Re: Chateau LTE12 and self managed wifi with capsman

Interesting, can you point me to docs saying that as in official Mikrotik's YT video guy was doing exactly that? Admittedly, with previous version of capsman, but still, fundamentally there shouldn't be such a difference. Also, if managing local interfaces by a locally running capsman isn't possible...

Chateau LTE12 and self managed wifi with capsman

Hello, recently I set up a capsman on my router (rb750) and combined it with couple of cap acs (all using wifi-qcom-ac-7.14.3-arm.npk) so I can say I know how to do a basic capsman setup. Now I decided to take my LTE12 router and try to set up a local capsman to manage its two wifi radios. I updated...

Re: Cap Lite and wifi-qcom-ac

The cAP lite has the MIPSBE architecture and is therefor not compatible with the wifi-qcom-ac driver.
Do you know if there's an alternative library issued by Mikrotik that could enable WiFi (wave 2) for cap lite?

Thanks,
Bruno

Cap Lite and wifi-qcom-ac

Hi all, as subject says - does anyone know for certain if cAP Lite can be upgraded with wifi-qcom-ac package? I am building capsman roaming network with two cAP ac APs and I need two more devices. Where I live it is becoming difficult to source cAP acs, but cAP Lites are available and very affordabl...

cAP ac weird firmware version?

I have cAP ac that I upgrade via Quick Set section in web interface. That works fine and I get two pieces of data when I click on Check For Update: Installed version: 7.14 Latest version 7.14.3 So far so good, that makes sense as I know I installed 7.14. However, in standard WebFig menu, when I go t...

cAP ac issue switching to bridge mode

Hi all, I have cAP ac that has been lying around for few years since I bought it. I actually bought two and I use one actively (WISP AP, bridge mode). I don't remember any issues configuring that one. It normally gets IP from dhcp (on mikrotik router) and serves network traffic via two wlans. I use ...
