I think you can use 802.11k/v but 802.11r (FT over DS) requires all the stations to be managed by the same controller.

Does MT have any plans to release a wifi 6 router with a Gpon port or even better a XGSPON port. XGS PON is being deployed everywhere and all MT has is a wifi 6 router with a 2.5 gig wan port. I really want to use MT wifi 6 routers for all my fiber customers but I need a WIFI 6 router with either a...

Re: hAP ax3 / MBP: intermittent packet loss

+1 I’ve also sporadically noticed some packet loss from the hAP ax3 WiFi (0.5-5%), over Ethernet there is no packet loss so it is not my ISP's fault. Most streaming and video conferencing services are tolerant to these losses but it may not be the case for GFN (I have not tried the service personall...

Re: Slower WiFi speeds with Mikrotik vs Vodafone router

Try updating your hAP ax3 to 7.17.2 (both ROS and Routerboard FW) and make sure to use the lesser congested channel in your environment. This is what I get over WiFi (my ISP gives me ~1020 mbps over 2.5GbE) from the hAP ax3 to my MacBook Pro when no one else is using the connection. Screenshot 2025-...

Re: cAP ax: Best performance

I don't think so. To achieve a throughput of ≥ 1 Gbps over WiFi, you typically need a 160 MHz bandwidth because WiFi generally operates at about 60-70% efficiency of the PHY rate. At my home office, I have an 850 Mbps internet connection, but my hAP ax3 cannot fully saturate the connection with a si...

Tx/Rx errors are normal in a shared medium like WiFi. I think the older drivers just didn't report these errors.

There is no superchannel in the new wifi-qcom(-ac) drivers, also there is no no_country_set.
