and atom with 1 hdd about 40w
p3 800mhz with 1 hdd about 60w ,not too much

why you need an atom 230 to be a router?
just buy a second hand P3 800mhz PC cost you less than 40usd ,and you should run ros with it prefectly

ros can find that nic ,even you can config it to an ip address
but the nic just does NOT work(both in ip mode and mactelnet mode)
can't connect to anything
maybe someting wrong with new nic driver?
