How change outgoing-voltage on rs232 on a Routerboard

Hello all, as i've measured the outgoing voltage on rs232-port on a Routerboard does have ~ -6 Volt on PIN-3. Is it possible to increase this to (-/+) 7-8 Volt. I need this higher voltage for an adapter to connect to a serial-modbus interface, that starts to run with its opto-coppling-interface at 7...

"fcs error on link" on sfp-sfpplus1 on a CCR-1036-8G-2S+

Hello all, i sometimes get an error -> "fcs error on link" on sfp-sfpplus1 on our "CCR-1036-8G-2S+" which connects to a sfpplus interface of a "CRS226-24G-2S+". If this happens there is also the connection lost for a second or more. ---------------------------- screensh...

Isn't it possible to add a user to user-manager with valid profile via cli?

Hello all, is it possible to add a user to user-manager via cli (through ssh) with a valid profile? Currently i have to add a profile to the user via webinterface after adding it via cli in the test-scenario. But have to add all user-credentials on cli at one time. I cannot find any commandline-opti...

Re: Logentries on CRS-226 v6.31 -> "excessive broadcasts/multicasts, probably a loop"

Hello all, i now have the same symptom on a RB2011iL with exactly the same warning messages. For me it seems, when i connect an ethernet link to the master-interface of a switch i get exactly this message: [interface, warning ether8 excessive broadcasts/multicasts, probably a loop] But i'm sure that...

Re: Logentries on CRS-226 v6.31 -> "excessive broadcasts/multicasts, probably a loop"

I've now changed the cable from ether1 to ether2 and the warnings don't come any longer. The ether1 interface is also the master-interface for all other interfaces. Is that the reason for this error-messages?

Logentries on CRS-226 v6.31 -> "excessive broadcasts/multicasts, probably a loop"

Hello all, I've switched an uplink from a CCR-1016 to a CRS-226 to another CRS-226 (both with the same type and same ROS-Version v6.31). On the new one i get every 30 seconds the warning message: -> "ether1 excessive broadcasts/multicasts, probably a loop". The two CRSs are connected throu...

IPSec Peer Portentry 500 goes to 62465

Hello all, i have a problem when setting up a ipsec connection between 2 Mikrotik CCR1016-12Gs. When i put in the standard port 500 into the peers setup the system makes a port entry of 62465, as i can see in ipsec/debug log. When i change the port-entry into 0, the port 500 will be used from the sy...

Re: RB/800 - System rebooted because of kernel failure

I've updated the bios to 2.30 and the RouterOS to 5.11. The Board now runs a works a little longer, but do also a "System reboot because of kernel failure". And in the Routerboard there is again no current-firmware visible. ------------ [admin@AP] > system routerboard print routerboard: ye...

Re: RB/800 - System rebooted because of kernel failure

Hello, was this problem solved? I'm asking because i have the same. The current-firmware-version (bios) won't be displayed and the router reboots many times with exactly the same message "kernel failure". I have currently version 5.5 running on the board. The board is connected to 24POW. D...
