Re: v6.39.1 [current]

Some people here are complaining about serious issues with 3011 after upgrade. However I haven't seen any reaction of MK confirming or rejecting that. So I'm asking whether is it safe to upgrade 3011 and wish to hear clear answer. Our routers are set to auto Update. We have ONE 3011.5 ports in use....

Re: Upgrade to 6.37.1 on CCR broke The Dude

It's not the client side, it's the data in the server. The clients have been upgraded.

I'm attempting to work with a consultant on this.

Thanks for all the feedback

Re: Dude Consultants?

Jarda, Percanta, Thank you for the replies. It gives me hope. We had been running the dude on our CCR1016-12G. That is where it had crashed a few times over the past few years. A few times we were able to restore backups of some state, but never from the data we had most up to date. Each time we los...

Re: Dude Consultants?

No one looking for some work out there? Can anyone recommend someone they have worked with that may be looking?
Or, if none of that is possible, maybe someone has moved to another platform they can recommend. If we have to rebuild it from scratch, we might as well look at options.

Re: Dude Consultants?

I did that and I was provided some steps to take. They did not seem to work and as I stated in this post, this is the 3rd or 4th time this has happened, so I really am at the end of my rope. I'm saying that the steps were wrong or the software doesn't work, it's just not working for us. I don't feel...

Dude Consultants?

I'm not sure if this is the right place for this, but I was wondering if someone had any recommendations for a consultant or if someone has enough experience with the Dude to offer some support. We are now on the 3rd or 4th major crash and are about done. We have had to rebuild almost our entire net...

Upgrade to 6.37.1 on CCR broke The Dude

We are (were) running The Dude on a CCR. When our system automatically updated to 6.37.1, we lost connection from the clients. They ask if want to upgrade, but that has never really worked. So now we are stuck with no monitoring because there is no 6.37.1 Dude Client. We tried to downgrade by upload...

BGP Broken after Upgrade

We just finished an attempted upgrade. Old box is an x86 running V4.17. New box is an x86 running V6.5. The config was copied and corrected for new NIC's When we first did the swap, everything was working flawlessly. Then after about 1.5 hrs, the connection to the outside world died. After some trou...

Re: Large event 2.4g

It sounds like you have a real opportunity with this one.

If it was me, I'd build a mesh for backhaul using Mikrotik and provide 2.3 client access with Ruckus.

Routing Public IP behind our NAT

I know this should be easy, but for some reason I can't seem to get it figured out. All of our customers are given Private IP's behind our main MT router. IE: 10.1.1.x or 10.1.2.x etc. Normally when they want a public IP Address, we just assign them one which resides on our public interface and IP m...

Re: monitor bandwidth and report

Since we're on the topic... I have 2 more questions. Is there a way to pull graphs or totals of a random IP? On occasion we want to look at customer X and see how much bandwidth they have used for the month or the last 5 days or whatever. Expanding on that, what is the best method for pulling this i...

Re: Bad voice over mikrotik

for v3 + disable SIP in ip->firewall->service ports. That will solve the one-way audio issue in voip applications.
Thanks for the tip. Our VOIP has been good, with a few issues at random. We'll see what this does for us.
