German RegTP plans to issue a general permission like it is the case with 2.4GHz/5GHz for the 3.5GHz band. No special license will be necessary

Combine 5GHz and 2.4GHz

I am currently working to get a widespread hotspot network running. It uses 5GHz as backbone and 2.4GHz for local spreaded hotspots. It will consist of a basestation transmitting on 5GHz where as local spreaded hotspots log in as clients and provide last mile acces to users on 2.4GHz. I wan´t to avo...

Hi Christian,
if you need 802.11g now, connect an 802.11g AP (e.g. from Artem) to a NIC. I use this method to distribute WLAN in widespread buildings. From my point of view Artem is making in terms of RF performance the best access points.
