Tnanks a lot, Caci99! I'll give a look! What can you say about this strange behaviour: 231 Gb is used from 307 Gb and we don't see on what! :shock: file_list1.JPG I create access only for my network to the Proxy. But it is long time while we can see a message BUILDING CACHE. May be smth goes wrong??...

About interfaces & slow internet

Hello to all!

We have problems with "very slow internet" in our office. Below is attached pic with interfaces. Seems strange that
public interface has normal speed, on other hand, local interface has low speed.
Can somebody advice us on this matter.....? :shock:

check sysytem --> package

if hotspot is showing there , you dont need anything else,
if not there download form mikrotik site hotspot for 5.22 and install

Here two routes, they are created dynamically. May be here is some contradiction?
Tracert show only asterisks... :shock:

Cos when route2 is for 192.168.100.50, it works...

But another qst: my hotspot user have "Limit Bytes In" and "Limit Bytes Out". After user reached limits he logged off. But how I can reset counters on the next day, for example?

No other ways rather than userman? Using only RouterOS? :shock:
Because I limit speed already and using other tools looks slightly not convinient...

I don't need in HOTSPOT; my clients are in my LAN, using DHCP.

does this show your public IP ? http://ip.changeip.com/

I wonder if that detector is showing you the proxy server IP, which is internal to the http request sometimes.
I'll check it on Tuesday only...

I installed RouterOS successfully. When I trying to check my ip address with http://www.cmyip.com/
I see my address in the local net 192.168.1.254 instead of address of public interface.

How I can hide it?
