Re: Whitespace

We are using off the shelf components, there is no secret there. The idea is open hardware and open software, no matter what card is used., show the FCC that WISPS can control these unlicensed TVBDs. This will make companies like Carlson Wireless and Motorola think twice about charging 6k for base s...

Re: Whitespace

The datasheet for the card can be found here: http://sknox.com/hinternet/ At this time we have an experimental license from the FCC and have been designing and testing these radio cards in MikroTik boards for a few months now. It has been about a two year long project thus fur. Most information can ...

Re: Whitespace wireless

www.sknox.com we are manufacturing whitespace wireless cards for MikroTik devices. currently operating them under an experimental license. i'd be interested in writing third party code to import as a package but we are unable to do that... so our management systems are being developed seperately.......

Re: rb1000 hotspot

Well, is this a known issue? Has anyone else experienced it? My routerboard 1000u in the system resources in winbox says there's 4 bad blocks, is that normal? It makes me nervous to say the least... unless of course they're marked that way for a reason. I didn't see any changes on the hotspot in the...

Re: I could really use some help here, please?

Well, when I did that nobody cared to respond. Maybe I should type in all caps and non proper english, I've seen enough posts where that has generated more responses. I want to issue public IPs to our customers, and I don't want dhcp/hotspot going out ether1 (72.8.60.12) so bridging simply doesn't w...

I could really use some help here, please?

Between IRC, these forums, and the manual/wiki I've come to no help on this one. And it should be very simple. We own a /22, with ether1 setup as 72.8.60.12/22 (or 24) and ether2 72.8.62.100/22 (or 24) only ether1 will route to it's gateway 72.8.60.1 ether2 is to be designated hotspot/dhcp server, I...

RouterOS problem with hotspot

Hi all, this is my first post... loving the routeros, using an rb1000U. I guess this isn't just related to the hotspot, what I've been trying to do is get the hotspot working on ether2 and after authentication giving the user a public IP address (have plenty of them to give) This doesn't seem very p...
