Suggestion: Simple security hardening method

Hi, I have been thinking about hardening options and like to share my idea with you: The default IP address of all routerOS is 192.168.88.1, so if options in /ip service were set to address 192.168.88.0/24, all users have changed this to your network, but not let in 0.0.0.0/0. In my point of view, 0...

Re: CRS317 - ROS-6.42.6 - hw-offload on bond 802.3ad not working [SOLVED]

After make contact with Mikrotik team, I remove inter-vlan routing, bgp and other routing configurations and took this to other router. With this, the CRS317 was changed to L2 Switch with Vlan + LACP in only one bridge with hw-offload. So, cpu usage is zero with traffic of 1.25Gbps. Before, with 600...

OK!
How did the system behave with traffic?
I did something similar, the "H" tag appeared on the bond1 interface, but the CPU usage was fixed at 99%.
My problem still persists.

Re: CRS317 - ROS-6.42.6 - hw-offload on bond 802.3ad not working [SOLVED]

Hi We have the same problem! The wiki: https://wiki.mikrotik.com/wiki/Manual:CRS3xx_series_switches say " Since RouterOS v6.42 all CRS3xx series switches support hardware offloading with bonding interfaces. ". But offload is not active in bond interface. CPU load stays in 90% with a traffi...

Re: CRS Netinstall stuck on junmping to kernel code

We managed to get RouterOS to boot again after finding in a Russian forum (unfortunately I do not have the link at the moment) a tip to downgrade from RouterOS to version 6.40.5. We did the installation using NetInstall 6.42 with RouterOS 6.40.5 [https://download.mikrotik.com/routeros/6.40.5/routero...

Downgrade from RouterBOOT booter 3.43.2 to 3.41 solve this problem or not? What was the result you got after updating RouterBOOT using this file: http://i.mt.lv/routerboard/files/dx3230L_3.41.fwf? Tks Can you upgrade your RouterBOOT booter 3.43.2 to 3.41 ? https://wiki.mikrotik.com/wiki/Manual%3ARou...

Re: Customers suggestions to RouterOS' IPv6 module

It will be fixed with RouterOS v7 (TM)
What is the forecast for release of version 7?
These features are extremely important to many ISPs.
