my problem is not about a specific ip or host it's about any remote session to any host ( doesnt matter whether the client can ping the server or not .

i dint understand what you said ,,,,maybe i couldn't explain it well.

i want to block all IP ranges except 192.168.200.X to be in Hotspot>Active list ( that's the way i want to solve my problem in the first post which i explained.

i have just Hotspot on my RB.

i may found the problem , the problem is with the ISP and not the Mikrotik.

The ISP is blocking ntp port because of security reasons !!!

and doesn't matter the clients face problem or not !

Set both a primary and secondary time server. Make sure you can ping them both.

Then type "/system ntp client print" and paste it here

Hi I have Routerboard 450g with RouterOS 3.23 version . the clock time and date changes to 1997....as i restart mikrotik RB. i have set NTP Client with different public IP of NTP servers but the clock does not sync with those NTP servers. and the solution is : IF YOU WANNA DOWNGRADE VERSION 3.25 THE ONLY WAY IS TO FIRST UPGRADE TO VERSION 4 AND THEN DOWNGARDE TO ANY VERSION .

THAT'S THE PRACTICAL SOLTION WHICH WORKED FOR ME !!!

OK , but the problem is only with the LATEST VERSION (VERSION 3.25) that's why i wanna downgrade to a lower version.

You will not be able to install older versions of RouterOS on RB450G. Older versions simply doesn't have support for this new board.

but as i bought the routerboard the 3.11 version was installed on it by default.
