Re: Monitor-traffic problem with using php api

don't try it.. api connections won't disconnect correctly on 4.x and the uptime of your router will decrease significantly :-/

API connections still dont disconnect

Hello, I've got big trouble with my mikrotik devices. I use Dude and some custom software which is contacting the devices via the API connection. Since v4 the API connections won't disconnect and the active user lists is full after a few days. After a month no new api connections are possible, even ...

Re: OSPF - bug or features?

yes, we experienced the same.. its also in all 3.x ros versions i've tested. mtik support doesn't care, or doesn't understand, maybe both.

they should have stayed with quagga :-/

Re: ospf how to prevent some dynamic routes to be added??

does the ospf-out filter work on dynamic routes? like pppoe routes for example?? i did'nt manage to get them to work properly. if i choose log as an action i can see they are marked correctly, but dirscarding doesn't work. the router advertises the routes to his neighbors just as before.. bug or fea...

Re: OSPF dropping routes v4.x

support sucks.. i
've got similar problems with ospf.. and some with ospf vlinks.. no answer yet for three weeks :-/ with 3.30 no problems (ok sometimes 100% cpu bug).. with 4.6 ospf route drops and vlinks creating invalid routes without a gateway. shouldn't be too hard to reproduce and to fix.

Re: Mac-telnet for linux

wow great news.. could you provide some information about the initial handshake?? i have problems with that :-/ i see that the first two bytes of each packet are some kind of sequence counter, then follows the mac of the source, then dest mac, and then?? 03 7d 00 15 and at the response packet 00 15 ...

Re: ospf - non-broadcast network type

how exactly did you do that? when i change the network type to nbma and add the nbma neighbors, it seems to work for maybe two hours and after that no routes will be exchanged. i tested only on ptp links. do i have to set a priority to make it work? i left it at zero. i think the problem is, that th...

Re: ospf - non-broadcast network type

no... NBMA is perfectly fine and works as expected. what I'm talking about is point-to-point (very different from nbma) and point-to-multipoint (again - very different from nbma). Both these network types don't use DR/BDR and have other nice features (eg. /32 automatic routes for neighbors in the c...

Re: using fetch as ftp client

well it works for downloading files from the server, but not for uploading the backupfiles to the ftp server. thats the problem. the wiki article suggests that it worked with the old fetch with "path" parameter, but not for the new versions of the fetch command.

using fetch as ftp client

Hi, the problem is simple: i tried to use fetch as ftp client for uploading backup files to a ftp server. an example for this is to be found in the wiki: http://wiki.mikrotik.com/wiki/Automatic_Backup_with_Centralized_Storage_-_By_Ashish_Patel but since the fetch parameters were changed this doesn't...
