Re: New Products

You want that kind of router from Mikrotik with cost 6k ? :) Are sure that you will buy Mikrotik router capable of 100g which will cost 1 million or even more? You will not!! So stop complaining and use MT equipment where it’s suitable. Mikrotik is perfect solution for small ISPs or any size WISP, t...

Re: New Products

Are you seriously expecting that vendor which is oriented on very low cost mass deployment hardware, will make a core routing systems with cost 500$ or even 5000$ ? Capable of 40g :) If you are a carrier go buy juniper or cisco for core routing. Why everyone here is complaining that Mikrotik does no...

Re: Why Do You Use Mikrotik?

Cisco is Cisco, nobody can argue that Cisco is not a worldwide leader in networking. If you don’t want to spend 20 times more money to accomplish same task you would on Cisco routers, Mikrotik is your choice!! It works and nobody can argue this also  For example I have a customer pharmacy company, ...

Re: 802.11n

i found posts which mentioned that N and nstream is not compatible but i had same 'not polled for to long' on pure A links.

maybe MT ppl can tell us how to solve this ?
on pure data links it's not a big problem if 1 ping will be lost but on links carrying call center voice traffic its catastrophe :(

2km link with rb/600 and r52n. 95m full duplex tcp traffic achieved, test was from notebook to notebook with 100m ethernet. That’s not a limit I think. Anyway outstanding result !! great work MT!! one problem is that sometimes link disconnects and log entry appears ‘not polled for to long’ without n...

Additional gateways for fxo and fxs connectivity will be pain. Such integrated solution is needed for small branch offices with 3-4 workers. Re: 802.11n

I don't remember , that was 3-4 month ago.
I lost 3 weeks checking and unchecking various parameters.
in production maximum traffic we achieved was only 60mb full duplex data only, voice calls was killing throughput to 5-6mb.

same equipment with R52 modules instead of R52n is perfectly working now.
