Re: GPIO for remote installations, why not?

I used the adtran ta 5000 alarms inputs for our central offices for a while. Every thunderstorm we would loose a backplane or strange stuff would happen in the adtran network. We now use moxa dio and isolate with a fiber link.

Re: Mikrotik or NOT!!! Industry standarts say no!! Why? [SOLVED]

I use mikrotik for my bras. Over the last few months, I started moving the gateways to juniper mx 204. Because of static addresses, it could take 20 plus seconds for the routes to come up in the mikrotk with a full route. The juniper only took a few seconds to update from the bras. Re: DC power option availability ?

I run my CCR routers on dc. Just remove the ac supply add a terminal. I bought the connectors on mouser.com.

Re: CRS317-1G-16S+RM - Hardware specification

Hi, I need to use the CRS317-1G-16S+RM in a TELCO environment (-48VDC). What about the "internal voltage" behind the two bulit in AC power supplies? 24VDC, 48VDC? Is it possible to replace the internal AC power supply with eg. https://shop.meconet.de/Stromversorgung/bis-48-Volt/DC-Umruest...

Re: CLOUD CORE ROUTER

It would be great to see a dual power option. Even better if it had 24/48VDC. All My high end equipment has dual power input. Heck, my core switch has four separate dc inputs.
