Remote Hotspot

Hi,
I've got to laugh at the offering for limited support coming with purchase of license, which I've done.
Second license I've purchased now. I have real questions and am not asking for a lesson on TCP/IP.
I'll bet this gets your attention. :D
You guys Communists? :?

Re: Hotspot html changes

My experience with User Manager indicates you must enter your users and passwords before they can buy time. That is why I don't use User Manager. My RADIUS server software creates the user account automatically as well. ADD: I don't use PayPal either, but I have checked out the interface just in ca...

Re: Hotspot html changes

I think you need to send the users to the User Manager interface before sending them to PayPal. I must go through my RADIUS server webpages in order to include all the necessary account info so that Authorize.Net, or in your case PayPal, will know it is my merchant account, and which user gets cred...

Re: Hotspot html changes

Very slick work. I'm having trouble simply getting back from the paypal site once a user purchases credit and should be able to log into hotspot with appropriate credits purchased. I believe I've lost it in the transition from the login page to the usermanager. As, I've put a "purchase credit&q...

Usermanager and automatic authentication then paypal

Has anyone had any luck setting up a Hotspot. Using Usermanager to authenticate either with mac address or whatever means.
Then direct users to paypal, have them purchase time, and automatically credit the users new account to allow them online.
All this without any intervention?

Yes, I do have www-ssl enabled. Now, I'm not sure which certificate is being used. I get the "untrusted certificate" response from installing my own. Which I understand is nothing to be concerned about. The PayPal gateway installed 2 certs. Not sure how to make them work, or if anything is...

Best signup method with Hotspot and or Usermanager

Hi all, Presently. I'm using UserManager and Hotspot to enable users to get online. And, I'm trying to figure the best method to go from trial user to authenticated via usermanager and then to PayPal to purchase credits. I have the trial link setup. Is this an example of the unstability of the software a bug or configuration issue?

Re: PayPal button and UserManager

OK, Thanks Sergejs. I was thinking having that "Paypal button" gives that extra sense of security to potential buyers. But, in lieu of having the "button" on the login page. One could just paste the Visa/Mastercard logo on the login. So that's virtually impossilbe, to have the Pa...
