Re: How to setup WiFi calling (aka VoWIFI) on mikrotik

Yes, VoWiFi service is active and verified by provider (I asked their support).
What is enough to tell phone to try initiate VoWiFi connection again? Toggle Flight mode, WiFi or reboot?

Re: How to setup WiFi calling (aka VoWIFI) on mikrotik

I think in my case it's the mobile (Xiaomi A2) issue - I don't see any related traffic in Torch (nor packet sniffer in android). Weird - the VoWiFi is enabled.
I should see some related traffic in torch, right?

How to set RB to work as router and public switch at one time

Normally I connect RB (router to public network) to switch (which switches public network to other PCs) Is it possible to set RB962UiGS-5HacT2HnT (hAP ac) to take work of this switch?: Switch: 2 cables to other PCs 1 cable to ISP 1 cable to RB's WAN RB: 1 cable to Switch (NAT + router) 2 cables to l...

Re: strange port forwarding

I've tried add <program 1 port> to SIP service ports and program 1 seems to work :D . I must do some more tests.
I've also recreated firewall rules.

Re: strange port forwarding

It's strange - I see now. But I can't figure out how to set firewall rules properly. I've made final forward firewall rule: 8 chain=forward action=log log-prefix="drop::" And log prints drop on both program 1 and 2 - but program 2 has higher size of packet (>1k). Log also prints priority c...

Hi, I've RB751U-2HnD v5.26 and on my small server are two java programs (SIP based). 1) When I connect from inside of local network it runs flawlessly (new lines in log file). 2) When I wanna connect from internet (or outside of local network) it seems one program is unreachable, but second runs fla...

Re: Lost connection, no beacons received

It must be some HW issue. Maybe connector on new pigtail (MMCX) between miniPCI card and cable to Antenna. Or miniPCI card itself. The other (non-MT) devices aren't so sensitive to this regular 6:50 loss of signal. I disassembled it and found the dielectric is a little closer to the end of central m...

Re: Lost connection, no beacons received

Is there any other way how to stabilize connection? There isn't way how to set VirtualAP with Nstreme and normal AP without it, is there? Maybe there is problem within Mirkotik device - disconnection after exactly 6:50 minutes should be a clue. Try to disable CSMA/CA or completelly replace Mikrotik ...

The connection to CPEs established :) forgot to renew new interface (R52nM) in bridge (wondering how it could work before, without this change) With default-authentication=no beacon loss happens more rare and 1x in one peace, but they are back when I rise signal strength on AP on RB433 :( . Re: Lost connection, no beacons received

I've tried everything but nothing helped. After that I've thought about reasons - so I switched frequency from 6 to ...

I've solved downloading from my FTP server. There was arp=proxy-arp setting in bridge so I changed it to enabled and it runs now...

What I didn't know - that I can't see MAC addresses after client APs ... never mind. :D

I don't know where the problem is ... I could give you information from my settings, but I don't know what information you need, so please ask freely :D

I switched all ARP settings on my RB to enabled, IMHO no masquerade is set.

Re: network doesn't transmit MAC addresses

I've tried to change IP of Ovislink to 10.0.0.247 but no change - still no downloadability from PC ... Isn't the problem with this type of addresses? Should I try 192.168.1.x? Or should help 10.0.1.x? mask is 255.255.255.0.
