Good idea.

But soon as one of wds links got disconnected, dude will start to monitor some other interface in that designated link.
Even if my wds come back, dude will not monitor it again by himself...

is there any way to workarround for this ?

Multiple links between 2 devices

Hi, I have two routerboards connected with 2 wds links (one is backup).
Network and backup works fine.

I would like to monitor both wds links between this two routerboards, but I can create only one link between two devices.

So, how can I monitor both wds links ?

Hy, RR stands for Round Robin which means that packets are divided equally to ports.
That's why it allways goes with lower speed.

Try mode=broadcast in interface/bonding.

it will go over all links, but may get some additional speed.

let us know !

Hello, For PC I use 2 x HP Vectra P III 800 Mhz with D-Link DWL-520 (Atheros 5212) Antennas are Parabolic 15dB from Pacific Network, signal is very good (1 km link, full LOS) Processor is about 10-15% occupied in transfer time. You mean if I get 20mbit on bandwith test in one direction, I should get...

Bandwith test

Hello,
I have simple WDS link, with D-link card, Atheros AR5212 chipset.
When I try bandwith test, it shows me like 23-24 Mbit in one direction.
But when I try ftp test through that wds link, it gives me only 10 Mbit of speed?

Why ? because wireless if not duplex or what ?

SOLVED ! As I understud, you cannot use normal queue under bridged interfaces. Instead of that, you must use broute add new broute rule: chain brouting, assign bridge, under action set: mark packet and use that packet name under queue tree, parent is global-total I don't know how this would work on ...

I've tried to handle it on filters under bridge tab, and to create a packet mark which I later use on normal queue tree, but still no bytes increment can bee seen in queue window. still no luck,

anyone,
have you managed to do some bandwith managment on bridge interface ?

Thanks for the answer. I have solved this issue, by reinstalling MT again. So, if someone has similar problem, try with that :) Anyway, I have one more question, of course. The reason I made this bridge in the first place is to do some mangle and queues between this two switches, to limit bandwith; ...
