Trouble mapping 1 private address to another private address

Greetings! This morning I embarked on a Saturday morning Mikrotik adventure attempting to get an APP from my cable provider to function with my home network (with a Mikrotik router). Here is a brief layout of my network. ether5 - WAN connection to my provider (public IP) bridge1 - My LAN devices, in...

Re: Question on Submap-to-submap link labels

That's good. My next suggestion was going to be to go into the appearance and in the label box enter:
Rx: [Interface.InBitRate]
Tx: [Interface.OutBitRate]

Re: Question on Submap-to-submap link labels

I am not exactly sure what you are asking, but if you are referring to the tx/rx data you need to set the link as SNMP (like any other), then select the appropriate device you want to pull the data from.

Re: list ip

What I do is go to 'Devices' and under the first tab 'List' print to a PDF file. I then open the PDF file, highlight the data I want, and paste into a spreadsheet. If it doesn't paste the data with logical columns just use the "text to columns" feature of your spreadsheet program (I use Op...

[Device.Password] variable not working in custom tool

As the subject states, I have created a new tool (Dude Version 3.4) that is attempting to call the [Device.Password] variable. However, it does not appear to be passing the password data from the device's properties. The tool's command is basically as follows: firefox [DeviceType.Url]/login.cgi?Cano...

Re: Bug/Problem with Link-Color

If you set the 'link label full' color to be the same as the 'link label' color (i.e. the appearance box doesn't change color with the link when its full), it does not seem to be as noticeable. Regardless, I think this is a minor graphical bug with how the Dude is refreshing the contents of the pane.

Re: Bug/Problem with Link-Color

I see what you are talking about. I'm playing with different probe interval and label refresh intervals for the map, link, and device to see if it makes any difference. But so far no luck. It does seem to be something specific to the appearance data over-layed on the link (at least in what I am seei...

Re: no ping in WINE, running as root. Ubuntu

Here is what I did (this works on Fedora 11, but should also work for you in Ubuntu). * Create a new Profile in Terminal named 'Dude' * In the Profile settings go to Title and Command and set the following settings: Initial title: Dude Ping (not critical) When command exits: 'Hold the terminal open'...
