CCR1072 multicast continuity errors when plugging in both psu`s

Hi, We have several CCR1072`s where we also route multicast over via pim, after increasing bandwidth to 15mbit per stream we are getting random continuity / pixelation errors. Now we traced the problem to one of our CCR`s which runs PIM and routes the multicast traffic, so we replaced the device wit...

Re: 1 interface, 2 vlans, prioritize Vlan2 95%

how about vlan priority? https://wiki.mikrotik.com/wiki/Manual:WMM#How_to_set_priority + shaping vlan2 to 95% of bandwidth Could not get this to work, but fixed it in another way.. On VLAN 1 = 80% limit, VLAN2 can have 100% of the entire connection. Seems to work OK, normally VLAN2 just uses 10/15%...

Re: 1 interface, 2 vlans, prioritize Vlan2 95%

Well, VLANs are Layer 2 - I don't believe you can "guarantee" layer 3 capacity. If you have a 100mbps interface, give vlan1 95mbps, and vlan2 5mbps via simple queues. More than that, I don't think you can do. Ok, I also have control over the Layer 3 subnets (both VLAN`s have IP addresses ...

Re: 1 interface, 2 vlans, prioritize Vlan2 95%

Anav: Good question, I believe want you want to look into is queues! Martinclaro: To do that, you will need to do load-balancing + failover (search for PCC or ECMP). This I know, I already have several working simple queues and queue tree's in my infrastructure that work perfectly; But how to make a...

1 interface, 2 vlans, prioritize Vlan2 95%

Hi, I`m a little bit stuck, here`s my scenario; I have 1 interface, 100mbit up and down. Over this interface I have 2 vlans running, 55 and 57. Now from the total link I need to prioritize vlan 57 for about 95% of total bandwidth up and down (only when used). What is the best approach here? Maybe if...

Re: Multicast [SOLVED]

I`m missing the forward rule in the firewall, I don`t know the command out of my head but it should be

Firewall -> add rule -> forward -> DST-Adress = 224.0.0.0/4 -> -> in interface / out interface -> action accept or passthrough..

If someone runs into the same issue, I have found the problem;

On one SFP+ interface flow control was set on auto, after setting flow control on OFF the problem was gone..

2x Mikrotik CCR1072 UDP out-of-order issue

Hi all, 1st: CCR1072 firmware 6.44.2 2nd: CCR1072 firmware 6.44.3 I have 2 CCR1072 routers in 2 different datacenters, both routers are connected with eachother via a 10GB dedicated link.. Now there are UDP streams going over this link but the packets are one-way out-of-order. When using iperf (on 2...

Connection drop every 60 sec (or random at load) on link (with VLAN)

Hi everbody, I have a problem with 2 mikrotiks, the 2011UiAS and the 3011UiAS. We have 2 datacenters that is connected with an NDIX, previously we used a sophos UTM to bridge the datacenters but we wanted to lower the load on the Sophos UTM. So we have placed mikrotiks instead with the routing table...

Re: Value's of multiple data sources into 1 Chart

Sorry, the ip address needs to be in quotes. oid("1.3.6.1.4.1.1768.100.70.10.2.1.2.1", 10, 5, "81.28.86.107") It works, thanks! one more thing, when the value of the "SIP_TOTAL" is 0, i`m getting that the probe is down.. i`m using: available: SIP_TOTAL() > 0 Error: if(...
