Re: Wireless P2P connection

I think that you have to use mode=station-wds on the client side.
To work with wds you have also to add a wds (with the station mac address) o the ap side

Re: Link Point-to-Point

If i were you, i will install RB411AH, R52Hn and 2 high gain 5ghz antennas per site.
Using N and Mimo you can reach really high throughput.

Re: Simple 450G Setup

Hi, I can't see the problem :) . The access points can't create loops because, if you configure them as AP bridge, they can't registe to each other creatng a loop. Anyway if you want to be absolutely shure that a loop can't be created in your network, you have to simply enable RSTP on the bridge cre...

Re: Pleasa tell me what to do

ok. Very long time ago i've had a problem with non routerboard minipci radios that doesn't recognize correctly the antenna-a/antenna-b, causing 20-30db worst signal strenght. Probably this is not the same case, but maybe you have connected the rf cable to the wrong port of one of the routerboards. t...

Re: Untag VLAN

Let's suppose that you have a 2 port routerboard. The eth1 has 2 VLAN: vlan1 and vlan2. You create bridge1 and bridge2 and assigne to the bridge1 the port vlan1 and to bridge2 the port vlan2 (NOT the phisical port eth1). Now if you want to untag the vlan 1, you have to simply add to the bridge1 the ...

Re: Pleasa tell me what to do

The link cross a city, maybe there are some buildings that don't let you have a clear fresnell zone.
How high are your antennas?
If the alignment is correct, try to increase the height of the antennas.

Re: Pleasa tell me what to do

Hi,

with this distance and 29dbi antennas, I'm expected a better signal strenght.
Is there optical view between the 2 sites?

Nv2 QOS

Hi guys, I'm trying to understand how to configure QOS on Nv2. In the wiki they said that there are 2 ways to do this task: FIRST: Nv2-qos=default traffic is inspected by built-in QOS algorithm, but there is no info about it. Because of this, I don't kow how to set correctly the Nv2-queue-count fiel...

Re: slow speed WAN-LAN RB750G

Hi,
I've had the same problem with different routerboards.
I don't know if your problem is like mine, the informations that you gave to us are really few.
Anyway, i've solved my issue decreasing the MTU on the Lan interface.
I suggest to don't go under the size of 1300 byte.
