What makes this interesting, is that CCQ drops when the link is idle and there's no traffic. Yet, when there's traffic all CCQs are well over the 80% and we still only get about 30Mbps / 35Mbps. CCQ can only be measured with active traffic. This is why NV2 needs airtime fairness or at least a funct...

Re: vlan's and fastpath and NV2 degrading network

Doing a simple test with home AP as nv2. wlan not in bridge. Just ip on wlan. bandwith test TO the ap is 40Mbits. With wlan in bridge and the test ip on ccr router on ethernet side shows 20Mbps... ( ether to ether is tested 90Mbits) So there sure is problem with bridge and nv2 Edit: 6.37.4 looks muc...

Re: vlan's and fastpath and NV2 degrading network

Now in newer versions 6.3x.x i believe these "throughtput" issues are still there. Everyone is looking in Wireless to resolve general wireless throughput , but i believe as you the bottleneck is somewhere else in the software or hardware. i already did some little tests with results pointi...

Re: NV2 Best practices for PTMP setups

Nv2 tdma is best option as clients can not hear each other and need to be served on time slot base. NV2 is very stable for outdoor. Only problem we see is, overall throughput on the Ap is very low. We do play a lot with the settings but it looks like its limit is in hard or software. plain 80211ac t...

so the Big question would be ;

can you put a TCP probe in a "Function"

can you use a "Function" in or with a TCP probe

right ?

i think if plausible it would make the Dude VERY useful out of the box.

Can you put a regex that matches door closed in the receive? Then you could at least make multiple probes with different "returns" so if the door is closed the tcp probe is true and then when ever the door is open, false. the Probe is already working for the door sensor. the received rege...

I noticed that Cpe does not follow Ap channel width , and has to be set manual on client cpe ( to allow the cpe to follow Ap 40/80Mhz Ce / eC .. ) Notched on: Running 6.37.1 / using Nv2 It would be very convenient / more clear if this would a default "auto" setting in Client-mode i think.
