Can't mark packets over a vlan interface

Hi guys, I'm trying to setup a queue tree for each vlan in order to equalize traffic on every AP. The point is when I mark conns and packets in mangle, no connection nor packet is marked. Counters on mangle marking rules doesn't move at all !?! but vlan interfaces shows correctly the traffic flowing...

Re: RouterOS (v6.39.3, v6.40.4, v6.41rc) NOT affected by WPA2 vulnerabilities

Hello guys! Just want to have approval - is the SXTsq Lite5 model firmware secure against the latest WPA2 vulnerability? Regards Hi, just ensure your RouterOS version is at least equal or above 6.39.3 in bugfix channel, 6.40.4 in current channel or 6.41rc if you use the release candidate channel. C...

Re: Vlan setup

Hi sasskass, We are a WISP and therefore there's no traffic between vlan's because Vlan's offers internet access to customers so vlan's are isolated one from each other. We have obiusly both kind of traffic TCP and UDP. ; ) Finally I decied as best practice that switches hardware have to take care o...

Vlan setup

I'm planning to replace unmanaged switches in all my BaseStations. All AccessPoints have in place a Vlan for custmer internet access through a bridge. (you know, the bridge acts as an access port ) Is worth the effort of removing vlan setup over AccessPoints and moving it to managed switches ? Will ...

Re: Ethernet forced 1Gbps/FullDuplex Not Working

IEEE 802.3ab (1000BASE-T) says the use of auto-negotiation is mandatory for copper gigabit networks. Manually forced gigabit data rates are not supposed to work on any kind of equipment. I have no idea why those settings are still present in the configuration. Thanks Andriys, i've checked it and in...

Ethernet forced 1Gbps/FullDuplex Not Working

Hi there, i've been troubleshooting a poor performance after a couple hops in my network. (on a single hop speedtests perform ok). All those ports are set on Autonegotiation mode, and detects speed/duplex at 1Gbps/Full. So far so well... After several tests, I realize I can get a better speed perfor...

SOLVED - Re: User Manager time different from system time

Easy peasy.

I have to configure the customer time-zone setting. Once this parameter is setted up,
user session's time is show correctly.

Explained in:

Re: User Manager time different from system time

Well, the thing is that user manager log don't take the offset of the ntp server. In my case, I'm from Spain, the offset is +2 GMT and the user manager do not consider that offset. I must keep in mind, when I look user manager log, that there is a difference of 2 hours. There must be a workaround fo...

Re: A beginner problem

Thanks Mr. Fewi for your prompt response and my apollogies for the delayed reply. In fact, doing the NAT on the comtrend worked, so my first and second questions are answered: It's not possible to do it just with static routing. Always you get out from a private network with privates addresses to a ...
