Re: Howto disable/delete a route by parameters, not by number?

I don't think you can. Once the router is unable to talk to the gateway, it will disable the route until it is available again.  I found the same. Apparently, it is necessary to use to check the availability of the way network address of a particular service provider, which is not available through...

Re: Howto disable/delete a route by parameters, not by number?

This should do it for you: /ip route remove [find gateway="192.168.1.1"] Thank you, it works! But another question is: how can I prevent the inactivation of a static route when the gateway is unavailable? This is useful when a route is used to check the path to the external host through c...

I have mikrotik router (RB2011) connected to three external networks by PPPoE (via different providers). All of them has default route, and there are a number of static routes, addressed to the gateway of a particular provider I wrote a script to deactivate some of static routes and activate another...

What about collecting AS numbers in Netflow stream when th BGP is running on the same router?

As we can read about Cisco, if we running netflow sensor on router with BGP, we can see AS numbers in netflow stream.
What about this feature in Mikrotik RouterOS?

Re: Please help to chooze what model of RouterBoard I need

Unfortunately, when I change the Linux router (Sun Netra T1 + Auror Linux - based on Fedora) with new RB450G, I see that effective loading of internet link decreases to 14-15 mbit and found packet loss on WAN interface about 20-30%. The config of RB450G is very simple - only 3 ip addresses assigned ...

RB450G - what throughput speed is normal?

I want to use RB450G as border router to Internet for three-branched network. My WAN link is ethernet 50 Mbits/sec, and now working on linux gateway (Pentium4+Fedora 10). When I try to change linux gateway with RB450G - the loading of WAN link decreases to 14-15 mbit/s (with static NAT on WAN port)....

The interchange between local interfaces is not need...
