Greetings, fellow experts. Here we have a recurrent problem with the hotspot at the hotel were I work, not happened in previous years. With a little software of ours, at the front desk they print hotspot tickets with a random user and password, with a selected uptime limit. The maximum was set at on...
Greetings again. I'm having a similar question right now. (6.0rc7) I see I can only input integer values in the Bandwidth boxes, aside from the preset ones. Nor 40M , nor 40m , nor 40MiB . I can write 40000 , but which scale are these boxes waiting? Bits? Kilobytes? Megabits? It's not specified in t...
Oops! I forgot to be more specific. We use a Mikrotik router. WiFi antennas are autonomous, so there's no Mikrotik Wireless interface. And this default-forwarding seems to be wireless exclusive.
But thank you. I just wanted to know what to expect, to think which rules to put from there.
Greetings, gentlemen. We set up the Mikrotik hotspot one year and so ago, made some tests and convinced ourselves that hotspot clients wouldn't be able to ping nor to see each other, until we set IP binding entries. But yesterday we saw the opposite. Before wrecking our brains further, let me ask: w...

Since then, we're unable to access local web servers within the customers network (access points web interfaces, e.g.). There's no ping to those devices, except for ARP ping from the Mikrotik router. I tried ...
As I said: through Winbox, the name is automatically converted to its IP address.
I just tested through Webfig, but it doesn't accept text strings at all.
And I'm not able to figure out how to get or set an item through SSH. -_-u
I'm looking for almost the same. My difference is that I want to block most websites only for some specific computers. Is Webproxy a component of Mikrotik? I didn't find it on Winbox... ... until now. It's located under the IP menu. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to be as useful as I wanted. My purp...
Can I resurrect this topic? I'm having the same trouble since I don't know when. 1 bridge, 1 ether and 2 wlans. wlan1 shows as available, with its SSID, but when a device tries to link, it keeps on trying and can't connect. It doesn't put any info at the logs ("wireless" on), but it does w...
