Large HW Frame vs Frames difference

Hi All I am having a very large HW Frame vs Frames rate difference on one of my PTP links and am wondering if this could be caused by alignment? I have noticed that the Rx Rate keeps fluctuating between 6Mbps and 300Mbps. The two devices (SXT 5nD r2) are quite close to each other so I had to turn do...

AP<->AP NSTREME

Hi All I currently have two AP's connected using HWMP+ mesh (More will be added later) however I am wanting to enable Nstreme to avoid hidden nodes etc, however when I enable it the link drops and the WDS never comes back up. I need to have clients connecting at both ends (SXT's) and the AP's to be ...

I have a similar requirement, did you ever come right with this? The http://www.demo.accessmanager.in/admin seems dead.

Re: Noise Floor < -100 dBm, normal??

Sorry but a had misunderstood, this is very good result. Nothing for worry about it. Correct, you don't need to worry about it - it is a good result. Older legacy chipsets could have noise level approx up to -97, but new N chipset cards has better results and could go to above -100. So even if I fo...

Re: Noise Floor > 100 dBm, normal??

The lower the 'noise floor', the better. Your 'noise floor' is not higher than 100 dBm, but lower than -100 dBm . Notice a minus sign in 'noise floor' value. HTH, Post corrected thanks. What I was told and am wanting to confirm is if a noise floor value is between -100dBm and -127dBm there is a pro...

Noise Floor < -100 dBm, normal??

Hi All I have installed a new AP in my area and am having poor signal to my other AP using WDS. I have done some digging and it my noise floor value on the card is sitting at -113dBm. People have mentioned to me this is usually caused by a wireless card or antenna fault, is this so? When I do a scan...

Exclude Traffic Accounting for a specific IP

Hi My network layout is as follows: 10.0.0.0/24 (Hotspot) -> 192.168.0.0/24 (Lan) I need for all traffic to a 192.168.0.2 to be excluded from the accounting as users will be copying files from there and I don't want that to go towards their CAP. So far I have managed to set a rule on forward chain f...
