Re: User Manager policies

I take it either a) no one uses user manager b) no one has tried to do what I am attempting or c) this is like the dude and a feature that is heavily ignored and MikroTik is hoping it will just disappear one day. This is an issue I would like to see a reply on. It has been several weeks since I post...

User Manager policies

This is a repost from the user manager boards. I have had no answer there and was hoping maybe a new thread here would help. My company currently has all of our Engineers using the admin account in our MikroTik routers. We have added several new people lately and this growth has prompted the need to...

RouterOS login via userman

My company currently has all of our Engineers using the admin account in our MikroTik routers. We have added several new people lately and this growth has prompted the need to trace any changes that were made back to the person responsible. Rather than go to each of our 30+ routers individually and ...

Re: DHCP ARP issue

Re: DHCP ARP issue

If this is an issue with ARP code not synchronizing, then I gather it is a bug with v6 and should I open a support ticket? In the mean time do I need to look elsewhere for a work around/solution?

DHCP ARP issue

Over the summer we upgraded the majority of our tower routers to CCR16s. In the last 60 days we stared receiving calls from some customers stating their connection suddenly stopped working. After checking the link from the tower to the customer we discovered the problem was with the ARP entries in t...

Re: SSH Problem: ssh_exchange_identification

I have a little more information that may help: When I said this was a problem on all x86 and RB1000s I was wrong there. I have one RB1000 that is working. I checked to see what packages it is running and compared it to the ones that are not working. (See attached image) The RB1000 that is working i...

Re: SSH Problem: ssh_exchange_identification

Of the 39 routers I have set SSH and FTP up on; when I try to connect via SFTP I am getting this same error (ssh_exchange_identification: Connection closed by remote host) on 7 of them. The other 32 work just fine. Below I have listed the kind of router with software version that it is happening to....
