Feature request - winbox mass password change

Hi, it would be nice if you can implement / make possible some kind of mass password change of passwords stored in winbox. May be it is possible even now somehow, but I failed editing the wbx export file and reimporting it. It stops importing right after edited line. Or may be publish some tool to e...

Re: Upgrading of historical boards - can't get to 4.x

Hi Normis,

thank you for quick reaction. Decision will be on my friend. Replace boards or follow your solution. It is about 45 devices.

Upgrading of historical boards - can't get to 4.x

Hi guys, friend of mine started to upgrade his whole network to newer RouterOS versions (client devices) for the first time ever, unfortunately. We have problems to get really old boards to higher versions. RB 112 and RB133c won't upgrade to 4.17, because license says upgradable to is 3.x. It is alr...

Re: traceroute-script

hi, you can save something to file with /file set file_name.txt contents="Whatever you want to save to file $IncludingVariablesContents or $[/system clock get time]" but you have to create this file at first and there is no /file add unfortunately. You can also set variable to contain retu...

Re: Mac Telnet Boken in 5.18?

Look at tool -> mac-server. It is most probably set to ether1.

You have to change /tool mac-server set 0 interface=all. Or change it in winbox. You will be able to login using mac-telnet too.

Re: Scheduling Upgrades w/Dude during Maintenance Hours

Hi, there is no scheduler for Dude, but you can use Dude to manualy upgrade large ammounts of devices. But be carefull. I did last network upgrade using Dude and many devices "died" because wirelles package didn't upload correctly and during upgrade it didn't install. I had to upload it ma...

Re: self upgrade mechanism?

Hi guys, 1. is there any way how can I set password in terminal? I tried setting up upgrade mirror, but it didn't work for me. I tried to add manual upgrade source with IP address of my server with packages on it. After it I was able to see available packages, download them, upgrade, whatever I want...

Re: Problem with notifications

Hello, another solution is to check more rules. I use {acked,unknown,unstable,up}->down and {unknown,down}->up with this you will always know of device, which is down and when it comes from down to up (it happens directly) and from unknown to up (it happens when you are using dependencies for exampl...

Re: BUG? - problem with time on emails

Hi, I have exactly the same problem. Time in emails is in GMT instead of GMT+1. I am running dude server 3.6 on routeros for a few days. I switched from windows server. Time zone and clock are alright on server. I use ntp client to sync time. Outages table, action log, event log in the dude are ok, ...
