Re: Verizon UML 295 support

John, That was the key! Thanks for the help. Chris I've also tried the 6.38rc14 and had the same experience. I ended up downgrading to 6.35.4 and all is well. I have a UML295 with a static ip and haven't figured out how to access the mAP2nD from the outside. This is to be a remote installation where...

Re: RouterBoard 411U Supported 3G USB Devices

Helpful thread so far. I see the new ROS has support for USB reset but not sure how to activate this on the 411U. Is this only accessed via the command line interface or can it be accessed from the GUI?

Re: Usb port invalid

For what it's worth After pulling what little hair I had remaining then reading all I could find on this subject, I figured that if the 598U was to remain powered up somehow (externally powered USB hub or something similar) then this would prove or disprove the boot timing theory. So... plugged in a...

Re: Routerboard with wireless and 3G - which got lowest pwr

Yes sir, I understand that it shows as supported. I have 2 of these MC5725 cards from Lenovo laptops and they are acting very strange. They will only show in system/resources occasionally (actually only once). I have an MC8775 and it works like a charm. Could the problem be with firmware written ONL...

Re: Routerboard with wireless and 3G - which got lowest pwr

Thanks :-) - your wattage is that based on 12v? do you know if Lenovo branded Sierra 3G modem works on the ROS? I have one of them around here somewhere. Or is there a better and less power hungry 3G card? Did you ever get the Lenovo Sierra Wireless card to work? I have an MC5725 MiniPCIe card that...

Sierra Wireless MC 5725 W/ 411U

Using MC5725 PCIe modem that isn't being recognized by the 411U. Tried 2 different 411s and 2 different MC5725s but no luck. Not even showing up in the system/ports. I see that this is supported but would like to know if anyone has these particular modems up and running.

Thanks,

Chris
