Re: IPSec site to site VPN between Juniper SRX and Mikrotik

garysh,
Did you get it all sorted?
Im having major problems trying to establish it.
Same setup as you. Mikrotik with dynamic IP.......Juniper SRX240 with static.

Are you configuring it as a route based or policy based on the SRX?

Keep getting a no proposal chosen alarm on both boxes.

Re: RB2011uas-2hnd reset issue

Got this issue sorted eventually.
Seemed to be an issue with Windows 7 and my USB - Serial adapter. Although the adapter was working ok with Windows 7 on Juniper/CISCO gear.

Anyway happy days unit reset and now working.

Re: PIM/IGMP over OVPN

Trying a slightly different approach to this problem. We are just going to try and stick with and cascade IGMP-P and not overly complicate things. The issue we are seeing is that on the client routers (Router A, B....) when a request is made. The request is seen on the client router but under the MF...

Hey guys, looking for a small bit of assistance regarding the below setup. We have a core router 750G "VPN Concentrator" connected to one of our own connections (I work for an ISP) that provides TV streaming. There are several of us that are not on our own ISP network (using diff providers...

Re: Hairpin NAT not working

Problem with that is, thats the WAN interface in which WAN based clients will connect. [EDIT] I stand very much corrected. I unset that, it neither worked for LAN or WAN based customer. I then instead of unsetting " IBB DSL WAN " (which is the WAN ppoe dialer for the DSL) I used " DSL...

Hairpin NAT not working

Hi guys, Any helps would be appreciated. Trying to get Hairpin NAT working on my LAN at home and followed the exact instructions as in http://wiki.mikrotik.com/wiki/Hairpin_NAT , which has not worked. Only difference is that I am using the 172.x.x.x addressing scheme over a bridged "LAN" i...

Re: IGMP Proxy Filtering

As a simple work around I have removed the wireless G AP from the bridge and given it a seperate DHCP Server and range also NOT including that port in the IGMP proxy querier. Also to make sure, the AP is running dd wrt, so I have added some IP tables to it. Its not the perfect setup as I still exper...

IGMP Proxy Filtering

Hi guys, Wondering if someone could give me a hand. I am using a 750G with IGMP Proxy for streaming of TV the problem I have is that off the 750G I have a server and 2 wireless APs so the setup is 750G -- Port1 (Server) -- Port2 (Wireless N AP) -- Port3 (Wireless G AP) All connected clients includin...

Re: Multicasting not being resent out LAN

Im not sure if thats the problem. As a VLC client that is directly connected to Router A works perfectly with no problem, while the others do work sometime - intermittently.

I will try the PIM-SM / RP setup, But anymore suggestions or help would be great :)

Re: Multicasting not being resent out LAN

Yes thats about right. I will see the requests hit the local Mikrotik (where client is connected) but it doesn't go any further than that. What I have is Router A as a ovpn Server with Multiple Client Mikrotik connected. Funny enough using the above setup in my pics and 1st post I have one Client Mi...

Re: Multicasting not being resent out LAN

Ok this is extremely annoying, sometimes it works and at other times it doesn't
I added both and any alternative subnets into all 4 interfaces and it worked, tested it and all good.
I have done nothing or made no changes to the network or clients and this morning it doesn't work!

Multicasting not being resent out LAN

Hi guys, Sorry if this is the wrong folder, but thought it most appropriate. I am having difficulty when sending multicast traffic from one router to another and broadcasting it over the 2nd routers LAN. Basically the IGMP-Proxy isn't forwarding the traffic out to the downstream interface, even thou...

Re: Script to email configuration backup

I know this is a stupid question, but does it have to be written via the CLI?
I had a huge amount of problem running and getting mine to work, but I ended using winbox and the scheduler and scripts in there, it worked pertectly

EDITED: Allow User based on IP variable

Ok completely rehashing this post I have gotten the item to a point where I have a little bit more knowledge. The only problem I am having currently is the exact syntax for the command to add an IP variable to an address-list. As you can see the variable is being called $userip and produces the ip t...

Re: 802.11n

Hi guys, As per my above post from yesterday, I have solved the problem regarding security and AP to Client throughput using an RB600 / R52N and a WMP600N. After a lot of searching and digging it would seem that Linksys have disabled HT in an earlier driver release for the WMP600N and the function r...

Re: 802.11n

Hi guys, Sorry guys if this is the wrong thread, but found it the most appropriate one. Ive recently for an RB600 with wireless R52N card in it, been doing some testing on it and getting approx 150Mbs through it which I am happy enough with. This is a simple at home Wireless N, Router to multi clien...
