Re: Roadmap for IPv6?

Hi again, I am currently running v5 Beta 6, and your right, a lot of the iv6 features are almost there. However, Ipv6 client over PPPoE isn't working (/Doesn't exist), and as far as I can test DHCPv6 server or client (that can get a PD), doesn't exist either. I know their have been plently of reques...

Re: Roadmap for IPv6?

I have to say this is something key that really needs to be done. I understand it will be improbable to apply all the features of IPV6 within the space of 6 to 12 months so a time frame of what kind of features we can expect to see when would be key to the next round of purchasing decisions my org m...

Dynamic IP Blocklist installer

G'Day, This is a script I have been working on and using for a little bit now. Its a simple bash script that is designed to download blacklists (or allow lists) from sites like iblocklist. These lists can then be configured into your firewall and/or routing rules. Its has came in handy for me, and I...

Re: SR71-A Suppport

G'Day, Thanks for the info. Currently I am running an RB800 with an R52Hn.. I am only running a client access point at the moment - once I have my tower build I will be running a few PtP links - but I think I will be using the Nanobridge for them. I cant say I am having much luck with the R52Hn.. wo...

SR71-A Suppport

G'Day, Well after a week of trying and failing at getting my RB52Hn to work stably with my BR800 and allow PC's to connect at full speed I think I am going to give up on it. I was looking at getting an SR71-A from UBNT. I was wondering if anyone can tell me if they have successfully had this working...

Re: Manual Data Rates on 802.11g Impacting all Clients on B ??

I have actually seen a very similar problem, but with N - and a lesser extent G (sorry I dont have any B only devices) . If you click the default rates radio button, it all works fine, but if you manually specify rates, devices over lower capability can not connect. For example, I clicked every rate...

Re: Low Connection speed (11n + R52Hn + RB800)

Tried it with just a single chain... no difference... if anything speed dropped. The funny thing is, despite windows staying locked at 130mb, winbox will jump put to the mid 200's... Im guessing it might have something to do with the advertised guard interval? it there a way to set the GI to 400ns a...

Re: Low Connection speed (11n + R52Hn + RB800)

G'Day, Thanks for your reply. Currently running with 2 7dbi indoor omni's. Chains are set to 0 and 1 for both RX and TX. Last night I had a play around and changed the frequency again (running on 2412 now), also disabled WMM support (although it is still ticked in the client info under the registrat...

Low Connection speed (11n + R52Hn + RB800)

G'Day, I have just purchased my first RB, and so far, its working great - the only issue is the WIFI connection speed that clients are seeing. The highest speed that anyone can seem to connect at is 130mbs. The test client system actually has a R52n in it, but have also tested with ASUS systems and ...
