Re: RB450G: Unable to reset to factory configuration

Thank you both for your answers, I forgot to mention that I did try hard reset, it didn't help either. I have also manually configured the router with the factory settings, but that doesn't really solve the problem. I want to have a quick and easy way of resetting to defaults when experimenting with...

RB450G: Unable to reset to factory configuration

Today I upgraded my RB450G to latest version, inclusive latest FW. no problem. Afterwards I tried to reset everything to factory config (system->Reset configuration). After reboot and connecting again with WinBox, the router displays information that the configuration is reset to 192.168.1.88 etc, a...

Incoming forwarding / Proxy based on URL

I have several http servers: (mail, web) in my DMZ. I want to forward incoming traffic to the respective servers based on url, f ex: www.mydomain.tld -> mywebserver mail.mydomain.tld -> mymailserver How can this be done? I understand that NAT is not an option, because NAT forwarding is established b...

Re: CRS125 does not route between subnets

Thank you all for your replies and suggestions. Just to repeat some of the facts, the thread is getting long... No firewall is configured (yet!) in router, it is totally open, and yes, I know about chains... ip routelist shows two dynamic routes: DAC 192.168.10.0/24 ether-9-master-lan reachable, pre...

Re: CRS125 does not route between subnets

Both PCs have firewall turned off, please also note that the router (tools/ping) can ping both PCs, and tools/ipscan finds both PCs

Re: CRS125 does not route between subnets

Hi, No VLANs, just plain old physical LANs Everything is configured in the same way as my long time functioning RB2011, but no routing between lan segments. Note that router can ping both PCs and BOTH PCs can ping BOTH router interfaces. Also Torch can see icmp packets from PC1 and PC2 on both route...

CRS125 does not route between subnets

I just got a new CRS125-24G-1S-RM, which i want to use for replacing my RB2011 + external lan switch I have tried to configure the CRS in a similar way as the RB2011, and all interfaces, including lan, dmz, wan (isp) and sstp connection from a remote site are working perfectly on their own, but I am...

Re: can not align my sxt 5hND ..... leds beep work but LEDs

Alignment is only for CPE. AP can't show LEDs, because there could be many stations connected - which signal would it then show? Only CPE needs to be aligned
For an SXT in PTP bridge mode, which can only have one connected client, it should be possible. This would be a very useful feature!

Re: Problems with UDP (netbios) broadcast across PPTP VPN

thank you fewi and janisk, the subnet mask is /24 (255.255.255.0), but from reading a lot of articles and manuals, I think the problem may relate to that there is no ip-address assigned to the bridge. If I have time, I will try that tonight. Thanks for info about samba and wins. If I replace my curr...

Re: Problems with UDP (netbios) broadcast across PPTP VPN

Thank you for a quick reply. The problem is I only run XP on my net, and have no Windows Server to run WINS on. Why doesn't the Bridge support udp broadcast when both ends of the bridge are on the same subnet? Does this also mean that a default WebBox configuration where ether2..ether5 are bridged, ...

Problems with UDP (netbios) broadcast across PPTP VPN

RB450G, ROS v4.5 I am trying to set up a VPN-connection from a laptop running WinXP to my local lan using PPTP server. I have managed to establish the connection, and can ping hosts both ways using ip adresses, but not by using host names, as netbios udp broadcasts does not pass through the connecti...
