Balance-RR on a bridged network

I have a goofy scenario (I think). We have a flat bridged infrastructure network that we run a routed PPPOE setup across. All of the infrastructure equipment is bridged (Canopy/Ubiquity). All of the clients sitting on the network are using PPPOE clients built in their modems and are routed through b...

Bizzare packet loss with bonded link

I have two Canopy BH20 links bonded together using an RB493 at each end. I used balance-rr. It works super groovy except one odd issue. I have +50% packet loss pinging or accessing any of the 4 BH20 radios, even from the hard wired side. When I get ICMP replies on the ethernet side, its 1ms as expec...

Re: 2 WAN port forwarding

Anything similar for the Router itself outbound? If I try to ping from inside the router using WAN1, its happy, selecting WAN2, its not.

Re: 2 WAN port forwarding

In PFSense it was called NAT reflection. ....inside hosts trying to access services hosted internal across the wan. You any good with that? Even worse, the whole reason I bought a...

Re: 2 WAN port forwarding

It is working like a charm. However....dang theres always a however......I have a similar issue. From the outside, I can ping the WAN1 interface but not WAN2 unless I reverse the distance. Anyway around that? My monitoring system is spitting on me. 3389 works inbound over either link great though! S...

Re: 2 WAN port forwarding

Struck out again. Dumber question from your first post: /ip firewall mangle add chain=prerouting in-interface=WAN1 action=mark-connection new-connection-mark=WAN1_connection add chain=prerouting in-interface=WAN1 action=mark-connection new-connection-mark=WAN2_connection second line WAN1 a typo? Re: 2 WAN port forwarding

THANKS FOR THE QUICK REPLY! I plopped that in from scratch and now the server gets destination host unreachable trying to get out the router, but oddly enough, 3389 works from WAN2 but not from WAN1?? Any ideas there? I dumped everything else config wise so other than what you sent above and the IP ...

2 WAN port forwarding

Ugg. I have two issues I believe are partially related. I have a 2 WAN 1 LAN setup where I have static IPs on each WAN. Id like to be able to port forward from each WAN static IP to the same internal LAN server. I can get one or the other working. Im NOT trying to load balance or anything special ot...

The Dude & Canopy

I have read ALL of the posts in here pertaining to monitoring Canopy gear in the Dude. So far I have been able to create a device, create a few probes like Jitter and RSSI and add them as a service. The issue is, the graphs make no sense. Jitter values displayed on the graphs are sometimes in the hu...

No more disconnects from outside and looks like its doing a great job of balancing things across the three wans. /ip firewall address-list add address=10.75.75.0/...

Re: Load Balance works, routes to other networks dont

Thank you for your reply! I tried that last night after reading it was sort of the "latest" way to LB without connection drops. It gave an error on the two lines that used the "!" in the example I was following (which also was for only 2 wan,1 lan and im certainly not smart enoug...

Load Balance works, routes to other networks dont

Currently I have ECMP running on a 5 port config. It works but has issues with dropped connections inbound and outbound. However, my static routes and connectivity to all other networks, works fine. I decided to try NLB instead of ECMP. I used this link as the base to setup NLB: http://wiki.mikrotik...
