The problem is that you aren't connecting at 802.11n rates. You are getting good speeds for 802.11g but that's not what you want.
I tried your advice by disabling authentication, but it had no effect on the speed.try whitout authentication.
iam not shure, but wireless n does not support wpa psk tkip ?
I had the same problem whit my wireless lan and this solved it. i had to run wep keys.
