Change a multicast stream port

Hi, I need to change a multicast stream port. The stream comes in on ether3 of 234.5.90.113 on port 4900. It goes back out on ether4. I need it to come in at 234.5.90.113 on port 4900 and then go out of ether4 with 234.5.90.113 on port 80. Does anyone know how to do this or have a workaround? Thanks

Re: IP XXX with port 4900 to change to IP XXX with port 80

The script I tried was:

/ip firewall nat
add chain=dstnat dst-address=234.5.90.113 protocol=tcp dst-port=4900 action=dst-nat to-address=234.5.90.113 to-port=80

But it didnt work :-(

Re: IP XXX with port 4900 to change to IP XXX with port 80

hi,

Thanks for your reply

Im not quite sure what you mean, but the configuration line looked good, but it just didnt work.

Any ideas of what other command we could try? If we cant manipulate the multicast IP, can we manipulate the source LAN IP (10.10.10.10)?

Thanks

Re: Power Router Crashing and Rebooting

Hi, thanks for your reply. No-one in Mirkotik knows what is wrong, no-one can fix it. Im sure it is a setting somewhere so I was hoping for some ideas from the forum. A lot points to OSPF, but again its just a theory. This has been a on-going issue for 6 months so as many people with as many differe...

Power Router Crashing and Rebooting

Hi All, Hopefully someone can help, Ive asked the question before but now I have more information which should help. We have a RB1000, Power Router 732 using BGP, OSPF, PIMs & ADSL connections via L2TP. RB1000 is perfect and never reboots. The Power Router reboots randomly, around 13-24 hours. N...

Re: Unexpected Rebooting x86

There is some suggestion that the hardware watchdog could be causing this to happen and that could explain why there isnt anything in the logs.

Can this be disabled? We have watchdog disabled in routeros....

Thanks and any help would be appreciated

Unexpected Rebooting x86

Hi All, We have had this on-going issue for a few months and we cant resolve it. We have 2 x 732 Power Routers, and now a Dell Server which all reboot unexpectedly every 1-2 days. We have a RB1000 which doesnt. We have clients with l2tp connections, we use BGP to the RB1000, one power router and the...

Re: QoS / Traffic Priority

Thanks All.

I thought that was the best place to set this.

And yes I was very lucky or unlucky to get this job ;-)

Thanks Again

Re: RouterOS v5 beta4 released

Hi, Just some feedback

We have a Dell R610 with SAS, but unfortunatly RouterOs doesnt have drivers for this server as yet.
We can work around using flash memory as the hard drive.

Thanks

QoS / Traffic Priority

Hi All,

I want to prioritise multicast traffic.

Where is the best place to add this in RouterOs?

If we cant prioritise multicast traffic then can I prioritise a IP Range? If so any idea where?

Thanks

Re: Power Router 732 Spontanious Rebooting

Hi, Thankyou for your reply, We have removed our radius bandwidth limit therefore removing l2tp clients from the "simple queue". But unfortunatly the power router 732 rebooted again. Maybe a co-incidence but again at at 9pm.... Even though no scripts that I could see were running (not sure...

Re: Power Router 732 Spontanious Rebooting

Hi, Sorry for my delay is replying. We have a Mikrotik Guru and he said it isnt that (sorry to be vague but I am not a Mikrotik Expert) The power Router goes down most nights at around 9pm? Also, if we put over 200 l2tp connections instantly over to the power router, it crashes and if the power rout...

Power Router 732 Spontanious Rebooting

Hi Everyone, We have a very unusual problem which hasn’t been fixed and I´m hoping someone had a idea of a fix. Here is the issue: We have 2 PowerRouters and both are doing the same thing. They spontaneously reboot without warning and the only error message we get in the logs is that it has shutdown...
