Re: DHCP Option 67 not populating bootfile-name bootp header

Thanks for your responses. Yes, I must use the 'Boot File Name' from the DHCP Network configuracion. I was searching a way to specify the 'Boot File Name' based on an individual Lease, as I do with a DHCP Option parameter. Some devices work with the DHCP Option 67, but other need the Boot File Name....

Re: DHCP Option 67 not populating bootfile-name bootp header

Jarda, thank for your quick response. I have update to the last RouterOS 6.33 version and I test it again. I attach you the configuration and packet capture of a Working and a NotWorking DHCP Offer packet. If I remove the Boot File Name in the DHCP Network configuration, the clients are not able to ...

Re: DHCP Option 67 not populating bootfile-name bootp header

I have the same problem using the 6.31 firmware. When I specified the Boot File Name in the DHCP Network setting the DHCP Offer package goes with the "Boot file name: MyBootFile.bin". But when I use a custom DHCP Option 67 to specify the boot file name in particular DHCP lease, I capture (...

Re: v6.0rc1 snmp does not work.

I'm using a CCR1036 with RouterOS v6.0 and The Dude could not reach the SNMP agent. If I restart the services it works for some minutes, then stops working again.
I think it happen with my AHx2 too. Thank you.

Re: RouterOS 5.0 is out!

The configuration is too simple. I have a file called "plus.cm" and only one TFTP entry with Req. and Real Filenameentry "plus.cm". I do not use regex to write the TFTP entry. The strange is I have a working 4.17 version, I upgrade to 5 and it doesn't work anymore. I downgrade to...

Re: RouterOS 5.0 is out!

I have updated to 5 version. I have problems with TFTP provisioning.
I receive the "tftp error ERROR code:0 string:permission denied!" and I need to go back downgrading to 4.17 version.
Thank you very much!.

How can I clean some data sources?

Hi, I would like to know if someone could tell me how can I clean "information" from a data source. My dude.db is about 100MB and I do not want to keep some old data. Is there a way to clean historic data from and specific data source without removing the link or the data sources at all. T...

Re: Problem with auto discovery and SNMP

The devices are Motorola Cablemodems. In the CATV interface it has the IP in range I want to discover, but in the Ethernet interface it has a factory IP 192.168.100.1 which is found with "SNMP discovery". The same problem I have with Ubiquity devices which has a WLAN interface with a DHCP ...

Problem with auto discovery and SNMP

Hi, here is my problem. I want to use discovery to add multiple devices to my network map but when I use it with SNMP it discovers a second interface's IP address, wich is the same in every device. When I use discovery without SNMP in subnet 10.152.4.0/24 it works because it does not find the second...
