Thx mate..Or you can try this script.
Thx mate..If it is not too late... this is how I would do it / did it:
2. create static ARPs (this links the IP to the MAC)
ok,thxconvert your network to bridged one, with one IP subnet for all computers
Very funny..the solution is to forget about neighbourhood
And..what is the solution?btw, Network Neighbourhood requires single broadcast domain, so it won't work between different subnets even with WINS
Very funny!Well - looks likes your options are limited - perhaps you could convince Microsoft to release a custom version of NetBIOS for you LAN requirements
Add Ethernet and WLAN to bridge and use same one up range
It is important for me that all wifi devices which connect to wlan gets ip from pool different than LAN pool!
Thx for helping me!
Is this not finished work in mikrotik or bug?You could force all users to use DNS in the router and manually assign names. But this won't help seeing other machines in network neighborhood.
Thx but is it only solution??Correct. I think you can also setup a WINS server in Linux if you need to.
wins server is not a part of mikrotik Am I right? This is not a problem with the Mikrotik. For the NetBIOS name service to work on different subnets you will need to setup a WINS server.
