Re: Netwatch driving me Crazy [SOLVED]

Ok thanks for your reply it makes sense what you are saying. The Gateway is the ISP Router in the office which for some reason is down so I suppose in a situation like this I should do another net watch to confirm if it is down and if down to disable the netwatch for that ISP does that sound right ?...

Re: Rule to target specific UDP traffic [SOLVED]

Thanks

I don't know why I didn't think about the simplest method as just blocking external traffic to the DNS.

Added the rules, hopefully that should fix it.

Thanks again

Re: All Public IP, No NAT, and Simple Queues

Trying to get my head around what you are doing!

You are setting up a public IP address on each port from 2 - 10 but port 1 is the Gateway to the internet .

How is port 2 set up as, does it have a DHCP Server setup to give local IP address to cluster of computers behind it ?

Thanks

Hotspot POPUP and XP SP1 "Popup Killer"

Hello all

Just wondering what everyone is doing about this, considering majority of my customers have XP1 with SP1, and it blocks all popups.

Is there anychance to hide the fact that it is a popup?

Hi Edgars

Yeah i know that Hotspot manager works in a different way, i have been trying for a while to do that via radius but i had to settle for activation style due to restriction with radius.

Can you give me an example of using a script to make it work another way?

Thanx

I am using Freeradius to do such a thing, but it works on activation process i.e: user logs in if the account is new then the user needs to activate the account using a php script when the account is activated then the user can log on and all the user account details will be copied to the right path...
