I did some additionals tricks and obscurs configurations that has falsified my test.

Mikrotik's management profile take high CPU

Hello,

Have a RB1100 \w RoS V5.7, the problem is, mostly time, my CPU tends to reach 100%.
from /system profile, the most used process (above 40%) is named "management".

My question is, what is that process and what its functionnalities ?

Hello, Sometimes, from /tool profil , I see dns taking up more cpu usage, and I often reach 100% CPU use. My ROs dont plays as DNs resolver but as hotspot server, so why should it make output dns resolution ? When I block output dns requests from Ros firewall, CPU usage becomes smaller and all work ...

Absolutely agree to only use one IP address per Hotspot network. Public IPs work fine for Hotspots - just make sure you remove any NAT rules created by the wizard if you use the wizard, and to turn off universal NAT. Well first let me ask you this. Is there any good reason why you want to use two /24 addresses instead of one /23? You can always increase the subnet size to gain more address space. By having two /24's on your LAN you just make things harder on yourself and don't really gain any functionality. Als...
