Hello sergejs I am testing LNS from mikrotik, and on the other side (as LNA) there should be a cisco. Well I guess so. The problem that I see is the following: it seems that the max rate is always configured at 10Mbit, whatever I try. In few words each entry from the PPPoE will have a max download s...

not sure if somebody else already reported, but the PPP menu disappeared. All the PPP interfaces are "there" in the general menu, but something is weird. The PPP menu is gone and also from terminal the pppoe-client is empty

I had to reinstall Winbox 3 beta 3.

Re: New RouterOS BETA is out: v3.0beta3

Here is the link to the changelog: http://www.mikrotik.com/download/CHANGELOG_beta Note, that if you downgrade from beta version to the 2.9 version then you should check your DST-NAT rules - they might be changed. This only applies to the downgrade - upgrade will work fine. You can create a backup ...

If you want to have two antennas on one card you will need to use a splitter.
I am not interested in diversity, just wanted to use one antenna for RX and another for TX. :)

We have a 70km link with SR5 + 1m dishes - it is rock solid and gives 10Mbps+. What nearly caught us out was 'curvature of the earth' - this adds about 100m to your height requirement over 70km. Fresnel zone is just 30m at 5.8Ghz - so you need height of about 130m+. However, if you have the height ...
