Yes it is. That is the strangest part, we still have a valid active default route. The router just does not route traffic out. Yet after a reboot, everything is fine.

Can you upgrade one of them to .49 and see if they still work for you? I would be very interested to see if they do or don't. If they don't I will just downgrade to .46 until there is a true resolution.

wow, I tried 2.9.42 and it wouldn't even show my interfaces. I exported the support.rif file and it is on the way to Mikrotik as we speak.

I have found similar issues with VLAN's on the RB44G. I have yet to test in on 2.9.42 though. However, I did send my config to Mikrotik and they said they had no problems with it on .42. I will let you know later on today how it works out.

Well, we found out that it is not just a Mikrotik issue, it is a Polycom issue. I have their support team working on it as we speak and will let you know as soon as we find a solution.

You need to upgrade the firmware on your router. I believe it was 2.9.17 or somewhere around there that Mikrotik fixed the bug you are talking about.

I currently have at least 10 Mikrotiks running OSPF on the regular routing package and it is running very stable. That is even with a mix and match of firmware versions. Our main router is however still running 2.9.12.

I have not tried it with 2.9.28 yet but I do have quite a few OSPF connections working with 2.9.27. If you could post what you have, it would be easier to troubleshoot for me then just posting what we have. Either that or message me personally and we can email back and forth.

We are doing it on the LAN. We have a very large Motorola Canopy network and aren't really running any Wi-Fi for our customer network. The VLANs implement perfect with the Motorola design.

If you are looking to get that much throughput, you should definately look into getting a pc router. We have noticed that with our 532's, we can only get about 23-30 Mbps aggregate throughput.

The VLANs are split up between multiple Mikrotiks, about 300 each round numbers, however, I have successfully tested and run over 2000 VLANs in one Mikrotik router now that 2.9.18 is out. It did not work before 2.9.18.
