Re: BGP Problems Still....

Yes it is. That is the strangest part, we still have a valid active default route. The router just does not route traffic out. Yet after a reboot, everything is fine.

Re: Reboot Server if BGP Routes Lost for More than 5 Minutes

Can you upgrade one of them to .49 and see if they still work for you? I would be very interested to see if they do or don't. If they don't I will just downgrade to .46 until there is a true resolution.

I am only receiving a default route and I am advertising 8 public ranges back to our upstream provider. Very basic BGP. Want to get it working right before I go any more complex.

I am running .49 and can almost bet money on the fact that every 5-6 days my BGP will stop routing our traffic out and the only thing that fixes it is a reboot of the router. I unfortunately did not try .45, went directly from .44 to .49 just to find that I have the same problem. I am running the ro...

Hi guys, I am upgrading to 2.9.49 and on a couple of routers, after installing the new package the converting to routing-test, everything worked fine. I am guessing that due to the fact that Mikrotik made it so you can't buy the RB44G from them until June that they are aware of the problems with the card and are in the process of fixing them. I am looking forward to that day and in the mean time have just kept using RB44's. Look forward to seeing ...

I have found similar issues with VLAN's on the RB44G. I have yet to test in on 2.9.42 though. However, I did send my config to Mikrotik and they said they had no problems with it on .42. I will let you know later on today how it works out.
