You suggest a cable, including manufacturing, seller markup, and merchant fees, that sells for AU$1.23?The device only supports DC jack power.
For tough to place locations, I suggest DC cable extender like this https://www.aliexpress.com/item/4000958018795.html
See the first post as to speed can be achieved and is required. Why stick with CAT6 when CAT12, 18 and 20 are readily available?
Try fitting two outdoor rated cables. The whole SXT design from cable entry to opening isn’t the best.Have to say that's not great design putting the sim card slot so close to the lan cable. Also the hatch to access the lan cables could have been a bit bigger....
Thanks mate, downloaded.
I do!If anyone needs the EP06-E firmware upgrade(EP06ELAR03A08M4G.zip) and is not getting a response from Quectel support. I have a copy of it after much pain in getting it from Quectel.
Devices plural, PDF only lists one 5G device. What do you mean? Was anyone else a little disappointed when they read this and then opened the PDF to discover it was a typo?Read our latest newsletter and learn more about:

Thanks 43north!Never have found out the answer to my question. To answer yours, yes you can use external antennas. The connectors are the ones circled in my photo. If you need some connectors so you can attach SMA antennas I can send you links to the ones I use.
Optus the OP has, you'd be lucky to get a signal sitting on top of a tower ;)Are you at the site or 14000 km away?I'd say modem is misbehaving and modem FW upgrade is recomended thing to do IMHO.
Sorry to hijack, but any word on SXT Sib?You can wait for new line of devices with 1GbE, I know about new LHGGR who will be at this end of year.
No, it uses the LGA format I believe: https://www.quectel.com/product/eg12.htmI see you don't sell LTE12 card separately. Can you harvest a LTE12 card from a Chateau?
You won't, I'm afraid. Duxtel have no plans and WISP will order them if you buy multiple units. Try GoWireless in NZ - with postage to Australia they come in at around AU$145.Thanks - I'll look in to it some more. Need to find an Australian reseller for the SXTR.
Not the same gear, but a SXT LTE + SXT Lite2 powered from solar consumes <5W combined. Max rating in PDF is 6W for the LTE and 5W for the Lite2...one has done this experiment or has any information or suggestions I'd be happy to hear about it.
Me too - or even Cat. 4 or 6 as long as it has B28 like the Chateau.Hi.
I know that already.
i'm concerning about a Cat 12 modem to be used with the Mikrotik's routerboards. We have the R11 LTE6...i hope they will develope a Cat.12 as well.
Regards.
Maurizio
Supported bands?• The new Chateau CAT12
https://mikrotikdownload.s3.eu-west-1.a ... ews_94.pdf
They only have 100Mbps ports on the SXT and LTE units which are designed for outdoor remote areas -- people like me. I'm not going to be able to get close to the port limit being far from a tower.mikrotik can do that to of course, but with FE port? I dont think so, upgrade your gameplay please!
Of course not.Hi, I wanted to know is the mobile app for MikroTik open source? If so, where can I find the source code?
Thanks
Is there some reason you refuse to accept a positive experience with MikroTik?A real example please scampel. If we don't believe it. we are art theory
You've yet to post your own configuration...and here ends this forum topic. always the same, any person defends the brand but nobody shows even an antenna speed test to prove it and how not always blame the bad configuration.
dot1x - added support for IEEE 802.1X Port-Based Network Access Control;
FCC page doesn't have much info yet. Probably still a few months away from MikroTik telling us what is supports. Those are not EU or intl. bands.
Half of the world uses bands 1, 3, 8, 20, etc.
Also, I bet you a beer that UL won't even reach 75Mbps.
You have your answer: you can't. Please stop spamming this forum.upp
Thanks mate.Using a 24V power supply on a RBM11G My R11e-LTE-US consumes 50ma at peak. Board pulls 60ma idle and 110ma when modem is tx/rx
I only have 1 of each, but I'd love to be able to use LTE too.Hello. I have 11 Mikrotik 912 + Sierra MC7304. I too would love to have this to start testing LTE on MC7304. Thank you.
Sorry for sort-of hijacking this thread...We didn't have a 2GHz OmniTik. Also we didn't have 2GHz sectors. Nothing has been removed.
700mW.PLEASE WHAT IS THE PHYSICAL DIFFERENCE BETWEEN NETMETAL5 1300MW AND NETMETAL 5 2000MW
+ 8.8 million for the MC7304.I too would love to have this to start testing LTE on MC7304.
At the moment with a crappy antenna, 7.5mbps. With antenna properly aligned and MIMO, caps out at about 22-25mbps with PPP.@RogerWilco, what speeds are you getting for up and down using the PPP on the 7304?
No, it is illegal to change the IMEI on mobile devices - SXT LTE, phones, modems - everything. You can "repair" them legally though.Hello, have a question, is it possible to change IMEI on Mikrotik SXT LTE? it is necessary to refer to Mikrotik as a smartphone.
No, the speed will be capped at about 25Mbps.Would ppp prevent me from using LTE?
I don't suppose you've tested the new MC7430 too?kristaps wrote:We have tested MC7455 locally and it works with RouterOS 6.36 in ppp serial mode. In routeros v7 this card will have mbim support.
http://www.scribd.com/doc/82742398/Solar-Relay-v2Thanks. This gives me something to think about. Unfortunately I cannot get I static ip for my LTE connection so I'll need something a bit different.
I hope for a 2.4 GHz version too.Ok. Interesting. Waiting for specifications...
looks like rb922 with some kind of sectorial
i hope some 2.4ghz sectorial products
Works perfectly for me.I'll have to give up on Win10. To many problems. Winbox behaving strange,
Time really, not other reason. I think I will do that when the MikroTik distributor opens after New Year and order one. Thanks for the help Jarda. If you already have a 912, why not to put there additional card?
So if you have a 4G modem in the mPCIe slot the USB port becomes essentially useless?USB will be disabled only if you use a modem in the miniPCIe slot. in your case it is a 802.11 wireless card, not a modem
It's on the Wiki. Why is that strange?Well, then remove this list.
Because on mikrotik site things which are not maintained by mikrotik, at least looks strange.
