Please allow roterOS to save statistic of simple queues into HDD. I always lost this data after reboot. I use this for counting user data and FUP. Is here any possibility to do this? We've looked into what you describe extensively and decided to build the DBS solution as described in the signature ...

Asad, You could use Cacti for free. It's open source, uses SNMP to collect statistics, uses RRDTool to store statistics, and is written in PHP (http://www.cacti.net/). If you want something exclusively for Mikrotik, that can also dynamically adjust your simple queues check out the Dynamic Bandwidth ...

You could create a script that monitors the number of bytes, and/or packets that is transmitted in either direction, and then change the queue's speed once the 10MB has passed through the queue. The only problem with this approach is the overhead associated with monitoring the traffic on the router....

I've been using 5.0, and 5.1, and the statistics for interfaces were reported in fields named bytes=#/# , and packets=#/# .
