Hi, So turned off my RB that has been running 12+ years when going on vacation, with some other stuff. Mistake.. It has lost its static storage due to the long power loss I assume as I get Kernel not found. (over Serial interface ) Trying to install using Netinstall "works" in that I can g...

Re: Wireless to the garage

Ok, I do use 2 Ghz currently, mostly due to that the mobile phone does not support 5 Ghz. This will change, and for the current link I now already ordered the card. Thanks for your information, and it was just 10 min late. I have to leave and I wanted to get the order in before the weekend. Still it...

Re: Forwarding of DLNA protocols

Hi, Just if someone is having the same problem. The problem was the DNLA server, and not Mikrotik. Details regarding MiniDnla here : https://sourceforge.net/projects/minidlna/forums/forum/879957/topic/5062120/index/page/1 I only had to configure pim on ether2 and ether6 in my setup, and it now works.

Re: sip - rtp problem ?

It turns out after testing sip proxies etc with the same result
that the sipgate testnumber was not working correctly. I reset everything to simple siphelper
with no extra rules, and called my mobile phone. That worked.

Did not yet try with multiple clients, but now I can at least call.

sip - rtp problem ?

Hi, I have a RB493G running v5.6. I have configured it with ether1 for WAN and 3 LANs (wlan1, ether2-5, ether6-9). Masqurade NAT with some simple firewall rules from the wiki. It works well. Now I try to connect to a SIP server, sipgate.de (all nat helpers are enabled including sip) from a client on...
