delete the rules under ip firewall nat which hotspot creates and place manually a masquerade by your self. it will solve your problem

There should be a resource monitor of cpu and ram on the 3.0, so when there is cpu 100% we can check which package is doing that so we can disable that package. mostly I can not even get a support rif fi...

routeros is OS by itself it has kernel and all the necessary packages. simply put the install cd. it is ready to work. it will fromat the pc and istall ştself to the hdd or cf.

mikrotik password finding

I have a router which I have changed the password. but I can not remember it. I have placed it as a slave to Fedora. I can see the file structure. but I couldn't find the password file. can someone help me to find the password file. I have many configuraitons on this pc and I don't want to format it.

there should be always a gateway if you want to access internet. ask your isp for the dns and gateway or if they are using dhcp configure your system for dhcp.

you have to make a longer tower or bigger dish. or an amplifier. but use amplifier very carefully .it can results very poor performance, if you do not use it at the right place and at the right power.

when the network cable is passing behind an hi power fm radio or gsm tower links it causes interference to the ethernet cat5 cable.

hi dingram. did you check your rf cables?. I had a problem like this and the problem came up to be rf cable. test the rf. I also had a problem with damaged wireless card. I do have the same problem with dhcp and vista. vista doesn't get ip from dhcp. we have to give the ip's manually. did anyone find a solution for this?
