Update - Been in contact with Mikrotik Support. They released a new LTE module firmware for it. Upgraded both of my SXT's and now they both work great. Fingers crossed the issue is resolved now, but huge props to Mikrotik for getting on top of this quickly. Can you give more information about this ...
@anav Thanks for posting this. I am fairly new to configuring firewalls, always left the default in place, and just added a little to it. However, for whatever reason, the new CR2116 I got did not have the typical "default" rules in it. So, thankfully I found your post about the 'standard'...
A new anomaly happened. Got the new SXT LTE6 kit-US in. Went through all the steps as before. Upgrade the Router OS to v7.6, upgrade the RouterBOARD firmware to the same, upgrade the LTE Firmware, make sure the APN is set exactly like the other one. In fact, set everything but the lan IP address the...
Wouldn't doing a hard reset using the reset button downgrade to the previous working ROS firmware? The reason I ask is I just did another hard reset and it does show the 7.3.1 as the factory and current firmware(with the option to upgrade to 7.6 below it). When I go in and look at the LTE firmware,...
And what did I ask in the very first entry I made here ? Good you got it figured out. lol, yes, you asked about the APN. However, as far as I knew it was correct. When talking with the guys at T-Mobile, I told them what I did to get it working, and he said he was just about to suggest what I did. H...
Got it figured out! It was all in the APN settings. I will put a screenshot in of what they look like in case anyone decides to use this with T-Mobile and they do a firmware update on the SXT LTE6. Of course, I still am on the 7.3.1 version, but when I do an LTE Firmware Check it is running the late...
Some strange but interesting progress has been made. I was looking around on the web for a solution, came across some old script for setting up a SXT LTE. When I go in and change the APN authentication to CHAP or PAP(anything but none), *and add a username*, then all of a sudden I get an IP address ...
New problem, I did a "Reset configuration" on the Quickset menu. Router rebooted, and now it will not accept a default password for a login. Just get "wrong username or password". I ran into this once before early on and had to do the Netinstall in order for it to allow me in. I ...
Sorry if this is confusing, I do not mean to make it so. I did a factory reset(hold the button, apply power, and wait till the light goes off). After doing that, it still has ROS v7.6 as the package(it shows v7.6 on the top bar), but when I go in and look at the RouterBOARD window it shows "Cur...
No, reset does not downgrade ROS version. Which means the upgrade you thought you did, did not happen (on itself that's already strange). Can you open terminal and paste this command: /interface lte info lte1 once Next /interface lte firmware-upgrade lte1 (it will not upgrade yet) So that code will...
In most cases issue is solved by downgrading to the previous working ROS firmware. Then upgrade the LTE modem. Then upgrade again to the latest ROS firmware Wouldn't doing a hard reset using the reset button downgrade to the previous working ROS firmware? The reason I ask is I just did another hard...
When I do a LTE Firmware Check I get this: EP06ALAR02A08M4G_01.003.01.003 I'll check and see what the firmware is on the new one coming in. Just an FYI, I am really unfamiliar with the forum, support, and such. I usually just google things to find my way around the Mikrotik equipment I have. This on...
Hello, I am hoping someone can help me with a problem I am having. I have a SXT LTE6 kit-US. When I first got it I inserted my T-Mobile SIM card in it and did a Quick Set, and all was good. It connected to the T-Mobile network just fine and I had internet connectivity. I then did an Auto Upgrade, wh...
