Re: Simple Queue priority

I think you have missed the point. I use simple queues created by radius. In simple queues you have to tell the queue what type of queue type (profile) so we use PCQ with inside simple queues. I m sure you understand this by now. But if you don't then don't worry i can work this out for my self like...

Re: L2tp+bcp+ipsec not working

Ok so got the Ipsec working fine.

So i have l2tp+bcp working with ipsec, but when i turn on mlppp to get better mtu rates i get poor speed and fragmented packets.

MTU 1450
MRU1450
MRRU 1600

gives 1596 mtu on far end, but very bad speeds.

Thanks in advance.

Can anyone point or past a link to a better ping monitor than netwatcher. Netwatcher give to many false alarms, even if it drops one ping.

Really need a script that will run 100 ping to the target and is no reply then email, the script can be ran on a loop every 2 secs from scheduler

Re: GPON networks with Mikrotik/Routerboard SFP ports

Ok so the MT GPON sfp its si only for client CPE side. The Finisar GPON unit i tried i could not get to work but i assumed this was due to the MT switches not driving the sfp unit, as you can only use MT sfp in MT devices. But i was told the MT FCT11 accepted any type of sfp, i tried the Finisar GPO...

For Microtick

If i buy a MT GPON stick and put this in our CCR router, and put another MT GPON stick in a MT FTC11 media converter will this work?

I purchased some Finasar GPON sticks back in Jan 15 but could not get them to link using a CCR to FTC11

Re: New?! RBFTC11

Thanks for the answer. As the Finisar Gpon stick is a true gpon to sfp ethernet then what your saying is that the driver onboard should should? Or does that SFP device have to be a microtik SFP ? or can you put any SFP device in the FTC i.e cisco, HP etc.

Will the SFP slot support any SFP device? If so will it support the Finisar GPON stick? this could be a break through in the way i deploy my be FTTH GPON network.

HI Microtik

Are you looking at putting the 911ac radio in the QRT5, we need a midsize panel aerial for some sites where the sxt 16db radio is to small and the 30db dish is to large, i assume that i can install the 911ac radio the QRT5 if i pop the back off.

I have the same issue on my MT RB1100 can you tell me the cure please Was this the MTU on the DSL pppoe or the MTU for the Internal PPPOE clients on your network. If i give the client a public static IP with the public gatewat the OWA works fine but if they are NATed or on PPPOE then OWA fails. Adrian
