Re: You've got to be kidding me. [SOLVED]

Yes, this happens sometimes and can be very annoying. The solution is to do a manual update as described on these pages: New Docs: Upgrading and installation ( Manual upgrade ) Old Docs: Upgrading RouterOS ( Manual upgrade methods ) I would also recommend disabling (and not updating) the parts you ...

Re: You've got to be kidding me. [SOLVED]

I've purchased HUNDREDS of these and have never had to do anything before. This is BS. I can do netinstall but this crap takes FOREVER. Sometimes I have to do dozens at a time. (I upgrade and configure all routers BEFORE I deploy them). Simple. If this happens again, MK is going to lose a customer. ...

Re: v6.41.3 [current]

3) Send supout file from the old version (so we can see configuration and installed packages); That's going to be difficult if the router bricks (like mine just did).. I don't keep supout files laying around, I'd have to generate a new one every time I did any modification to my settings for it to ...

Re: v6.41.3 [current]

bumpt - rb2011 - bricked :D 941-2nD bricked as well..... Router appears to just endlessly reboot itself. All the lights go out.. they come back on... a few seconds and they all go out again. This was a fairly new device. No more than 2 months old... Not sure how much uptime. It's my personal one so...

Bandwidth control (speed control) help needed - Willing to pay for assistance

Here is the situation. I have an RB750GL I am using for my gateway router. Customers are under speed plans.. i.e. 1mb, 2mb, etc.. No data limits. Total capacity of my WAN link is 150M/20M. All IP's are static.. 10.10.10.0/24 range. I have already figured out how to use simple queues to limit data to...

Re: Routing Help - RB 750GL - Will pay $

I appreciate the tips. (I really do) but at this point I am just burned out. I am hoping there is someone out there who I can give the details to and they can say "do exactly this, this, and this". And in return I will compensate them. In the examples that were provided DHCP is used. When ...

Routing Help - RB 750GL - Will pay $

All, I have an RB 750GL that I need some help with. Out of the box (defaults) it works just fine in a test setting. But everytime I plug in my ISP assigned IP address (static) and my 10.10.0.x (LAN) ip block (static) I lose my ability to connect to anything outside the LAN. I know it's a matter of s...
